    Первый вариант очень круто смотрится! Думаю, можно сделать фон грандиентный, а еще ночные графичные пейзажи рисовать. Илона, спасибо за идею!

    When you say you wash in between layers, your not steaming, just rinsing with water?
    Do you always have to steam dyes with silk?

    • @issilkpainting
      @issilkpainting  Рік тому

      Dyes have to be steamed, always. That's why it can't be washed between layers :)

      @issilkpainting So then are you steaming it in between layers? I thought I heard you say that you wash and between layers.

      The main idea is that resist's color has something to do with the color of your image, in our case white color. In the 2 first images the color of resist is the color of the part of the background (no matter are they flat or graduated white segments). In the third image the color of resist has nothing to do with the color of the image, but resist itself creates the design, which is the contour line. My point is to make the color of resist organically placed in the image, not to leave it as an alien element. Please let me know if it became clearer for you, if not I'll return to this topic again in my videos.

      I usually buy all this stuff in a local artstore, but I've found some links for you. this is Jaquard (the most popular I think): www.amazon.com/Jacquard-F-JAC2870-Resistad-8-Ounce/dp/B07B1C61Q6?th=1
      www.amazon.com/Jacquard-Products-Colors-2-Ounce-Apricot/dp/B004BNBS0S/ref=pd_bxgy_sccl_1/147-3918659-6320054?pd_rd_w=pyIrI&content-id=amzn1.sym.6ab4eb52-6252-4ca2-a1b9-ad120350253c&pf_rd_p=6ab4eb52-6252-4ca2-a1b9-ad120350253c&pf_rd_r=MKS0QZ41SYS760P8MV6Q&pd_rd_wg=Q4BGO&pd_rd_r=cbae87d8-d5b7-49f2-b246-cc47e5249459&pd_rd_i=B004BNBS0S&th=1

    Ah no - I like the rose with the resist but in my opinion it was ruined by using markers to color in the lines. If you don't like the white lines, use colored resist.
