Thank u for sharing how it is done really appreciate your efforts and knowledge 🙏🏻do also let us know what was the yellow like substance used for outlining
Hi, the outline is "Gutta", it is resistant for silk painting, better to use in thinner silk maximum Habotai 8, in my opinion. It comes in many different metal colors, also has transparency gutta. The brand I am using is H-Dupont
@@MiuArtStudioUK thank u for responding...ive just finished watching a couple of videos from ur channel and i would like to compliment on ur designs they r different and easy to follow too.
gorgeous! do you have to remove the Gutte or does it stay with the design? How do you permanently set the design? Do you use a clothing iron? are you able to hand wash it without ruining your painting?
Hi, this video should answer all your questions, check it out How to Make Hand-painted Silk Scarf to Sell - PAINTING - STEAMING - IRONING - BRANDING & PACKAGING ua-cam.com/video/I_9A6arCj0E/v-deo.html
What a nice work you have done.... Tell me one thing plz... Dose this gutta give soft effect after drawing??? I am so confused by using gutta because it gives a little bit hard effect after painting.....
Thank you! Transparent gutta finishing with a soft line just like the rest of the scarf. Golden, silver, and another coloured gutta resistant will leave a textured line, but it shouldn't affect wearing, just don't make it too thick if it's for wearing. if you use it in fine art hanging decoration work, it's doesn't matter. Good luck :)
There has no definite proportion of dye and water it’s depends what colour you want to achieve to the painting. For running purpose I find the original dye without adding any medium runs the best.
Love the video, very beautiful design. What is the process of fixing the colours once silk is painted? Like for fabric its ironing on the reverse side, what's for silk painting? Thank you for sharing this video 🌹
Thank you Ayesha, you are right, there is a type of silk dye using iron fixing technique. personally, I prefer the steam fixed type, somehow I think the finishing is softer. I have a simple introduction of how to steam silk scarf in the other video, check the description to go to the part you need to watch. I hope that's useful, enjoy :) here is the link:ua-cam.com/video/N8Z6tocyILc/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Dreamer52UK
I like to use Hdupont, maybe I am used to it. I think it's better if you can work with a few different brands if the budget is allowed, so you will be able to find your favourite one. The dye from different manufacturer occurs the slightly different value of the colours. Compare the basic colour, red blue and yellow. And fix the testing silk, you will see the final effect. enjoy!
Beautiful. Thank you.
So beautiful. Many blessings

Show 😍👏👏👏👏
Thanks for the claps! Really glad you enjoyed this piece. Your support means a lot! 🎨
hello, which colours do you use for your painting , regular fabric paints?
It’s silk painting dye.
Did you mixed color or they are ready Colors? What are their number ? Thank you
I didn't mix colour for this scarf, the numbers are 701, 751, 764 and 749 😊 you are welcome!
At the beginning of the video you used a tube with golden paint, can you name it? What is it?
It's Gutta Resistance 30ml Tube , brand: Hdupont.
@@MiuArtStudioUK Thanks
What steam after painting?
Please check out the video, colour fixing "steam at home"
You got to make sure that your dyes do not run out of that area, you can use NO FLOW by Jacquard...
Wot is no flow is this avbl commonly or is tha Gutta same thing if we use golden gutta can colour flow out or not
@@asheescollection7149 No, an even and continued gutta outline will lock the dye in its shape.
Hi, what clips are you using to fasten the silk ...I am always bad at that.
They are regular "fabric clips", search in Amazon you will find them 😊
Did you make the frame yourself?
Yes I have a video shows how to make frame please visit ua-cam.com/video/Gvgc_PptDCA/v-deo.html
And tell me the silk paint brand name which is very best for use.

@@MiuArtStudioUK thanks dear.... I am making silk scarf to wear on......
Maam what is the length and breadth of the scarf
In this video is 150x25cm, but I think 180x35cm is a better choice.
Do plz guide how to frame u this scarf
ok, I will explain that in the next video, hopefully in 2 weeks time, homeschooling is taking most of my day time :)
what is the name of the gold gutta you use?
it is Hdupont 30ml tube. if you check the timeline : 1:17 will see it.
Your paint is not coming out from outline my paint always come out why this happen
Check this list: 1) is the outline has gaps? 2)is the silk too thick? 3)is the Gutta completely dried before applying the dyes?
