    If the reflections of your neon lights look grainy and pixelated its because you need to uncheck [half res trace] under the screen space reflections tab. Doing that and tweaking with the other settings should get you to where you want.

    This is the very first thing I've ever made in blender or any 3d software for that matter. It took me about an hour and a half in real time but it was super satisfying watching my final render. Thanks for the tutorial!

    0:28 in menu "Add cylinder" change "Cap fill type" to nothing.
    1:09 for this one u can tap Ctrl + R and regulate the nuber of cuts with mouse wheel
    6:52 u can also tap S and Shift + Z to exclude the Z axis and type the scale that u want

    I love that these tutorials are only around 10 minutes long, that way when I end up with a failure that looks nothing like what it should it isn't a huge waste of time.

    Honestly this was the most straightforward tutorial. You covered all the buttons you're pressing, kept the video length down, and nothing was drawn out. I wish all tutorials were this perfect

    One thing I would recommend is adding the keystrokes so beginner users that don't know the hotkeys can follow along much better. Other than that, this was a great video in my opinion! I may use it for my stream now :D

    For people trying this tutorial out, another way to reduce noise is to control the distance of the outer triangular surface. The distance between the two largely controls how your reflections and noise turn out. So try scaling in and out till you get the desired results !
    Edit : I also figured out that the contrast and gamma can also play a huge role so you might wanna tweak those as well.

    you don't need to change the interpolation animation settings in preferences, if you just select the key frames and click t, you can choose which interpolation type you want

    I'm new to 3D, so for me the very idea of creating an abstract animation by modeling and dollying was pretty cool. Kind of makes me think of Trumbell/Kubrick building the slit scan camera for the star gate in 2001...only in software :).

    A bit late, but another thing that would be cool on this is to have the colors change as you're going through. I'm not sure about this, but I think you can have a keyframe on the base color/emission property, so you can make it fade between colors.

    Great works and have been following your 5-6 tutorials. For even shorter videos you may try to duplicate after first duplicate by Shift+R. You most probably know that but for those of you who might be overwhelmed by duplicate process (such as me) can try that. Keep it up :)

    Thanks for the tutorial. I'm a little late with all this cause I took a 4 year break and feels like I am having to learn everything all over again lol.
    I did run into a problem with the seamless loop though and I am thinking it has something to do with the materials randomness. At the very end of the animation it sort of studders.
    Either way you are a great teacher and make some awesome looking stuff. Thank you again.

    3:31 I think you can animate random seed with driver #frame and a expression to your liking using modulo (%)

    1st attempt I some how managed to have the wireframe on the outside somehow and had to reset everything from scratch but once I was able to get to where I was I think it came out great! used blue and orange :)

    My render really is awful, i don't know what's wrong with my eevee settings but i'm pretty sure i messed up something ^^". I have a granular aspect, and can't get a cool bright apsect like yours.
    Aside this your tutorials are really cool ! and it helps me in my debut, blender is so complex that it's really Hard to do something on your own first ^^".
