The best value I have seen in lighting is the factory Redcat gen8 kit. For 30 bucks, it has so many functions and great modulation. I get compliments from strangers and rc people on it. One guy couldn't get over the reverse and break lights.
just installed those lights in my Tamiya TT01E which i fitted with a 5 bucks Chevy Z1 body to mess arround with. Love ur style, if it doesn't glue, duckt tape it lol
The video was super clear and well put together. HOWEVER, I am a little slow when it comes to electronics. My doubt is exactly in the part you "skipped": I have an old nitro RC. How do I connect those basic cheap always on lights to a power source? Where am I supposed to connect them? Thanks in advance.
Whatup 10th Scale! Im doin a Trx4 K10 upgrade series on my channel and im trying to find a budget-ish light kit for it without having to pay crazy$ for the traxxas kit. Any ideas? Thanks boyz!
I was just about to order a light kit for my rustler when I got this notification, love the simplicity of the video!
Right on!

OOh the quattro looks good. I too have a red Tamiya quattro but I went for the classic "tornado red". Nice build!

Could you do a tutorial on how to intercept the inputs on the quattro?
🤔 need something to for a trans am project. To turn on some lights with the remote, like scanner, turboboost sound... 😅

Any channel on your receiver that isn’t being used.
@@10thScaleGarage I think I found the issue. There's no free slot. It's a 2 channel transmitter. Told ya it was old haha
What brand is the showroom light kit that flashes on the button?

Redcat Gen 8 light kit.
What is the voltage output on the receiver? What voltage LED's should be used?
Hey man I’m really interested in the lights you had in the black Mitsubishi. What where they called and where did u get them
Just a basic rx light kit from Amazon. Can't remember the brand name but there are a ton of them.
Is there/have you tried black shoe goo? Would that be a solution to the "TRON" effect?
Dang! Never thought of that!
"There may be another hole somewhere we can jam it"
Hi is their anyway of adding brake lights to a rc car and allow them to turn on only on braking?
Yup! Tamiya makes a good one. It intercepts the ESC and basically triggers the brake lights when you release the throttle.
Workin on a homemade setup, stay tuned
😱🙂🤩💥💯👍💪👏👏👏
