My favorite car mod has got to be the PRL intake. I have the exact same one on my SI, and the thrill and adrenaline I first had was amazing. The woosh is so loud and sound so crisp and clean. I love your build man, I know you have put a lot of work into that car and your civic inspires me to keep on modding mine.

How much does the carbon fiber hood improve head escaping the engine bay, I’m assuming you have a cold air intake and k-tuner, sick car btw!
it helps a good amount! I had a CAI but now I have a short ram and the hood helps it a lot especially since the filter sits under the vents!

I want to get a 10th Gen Si sedan
Because it's manual transmission
Has a nicer interior and technology
And good on gas and somewhat quicker than a regular traffic car
But I have some questions about it
- is there hill assist so I don't roll back in steep hills because I want to daily drive this everywhere
- I don't want it to be noisy or loud I want it nice and quiet no exhaust noise so I won't be modifying the exhaust system because I just want to drive it like that everyday and I was wondering how much of a difference would just a ktuner flashpro tune with no mods would make the car feel since you're supposed to have a catless downpipe and frontpipe and cat back exhaust and cold air intake to gain more power would there be a significant difference from stock and just a tune with no mods ?
- brake hold if you need it, e-brake doesn't engage til car starts rolling basically, so shouldn't be an issue
- not loud stock exhaust for sure, lot of catback options for different volume levels.
-personally running Ktuner, feels like the car woke up. Stock is honestly fine, but the rev hang and waiting to shift at certain times in high RPMS is not the greatest. The tune adds a personality to the Si that i think it deserves.
-As for the catless downpipe, I've never ran one, but I live in Cali, so I decided to only get the greddy intercooler, mishimoto intake, and a greddy exhaust which are all legal. None of these affect my reliability, and with the mods it greatly enhanced daily driving. There is a significant difference from stock with just a tune and no mods and tune with FBO w or w/o downpipe.
I can get 35-40 mpg cruising on the highway easily on flat roads.
Don't abuse the Si and it'll do you well if you want one.
there is a hill assist type of function which is nice. I used it when learning ho to drive manual
Also, with just ta simple hondata tune, the car will feel way better than stock tune.
I recommend this car 10/10 for a daily driver that is fun but that has potential for good numbers. Cannot do crazy numbers with it, you can but it requires a lot of components to be upgraded
Do you live in cali? Cus how do you have a civic with hondata? Isnt it illegal for smog?

I like my aftermarket rear view mirror because it’s wider so I can see my blind spots. But the one thing that sticks out to me is how it is tinted blue. Being in a lowered car, I get blinded by the car behind me so the tint stops me from being blind. Definitely considering the side mirrors from the video because mine still oem :) @shiyuzu_fc2
The side ones I have are also tinted blue! Helps at night definitely! No more blind spots and no more being blinded ! Hell Yeahh
