I think that the varied voices that you have identified in the security and health areas of the new administration will assure a full airing of those views so that when a decision is made, there is a real discussion about them. Could turn out to be a good thing to ensure that there just isn’t one view that is going to blindly take off in a particular direction. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Thanks for a great show as always - although I missed Christine and Seth!
One slight correction. Shaar Hashomayim has never been a Conservative synagogue despite having 2 long-tenured rabbis from JTS. It has never been affiliated with an Orthodox umbrella organization because it only offers separate seating rather than a full partition (mechitza). Rabbi Scheier is an Orthodox rabbi. Nevertheless, the choice of movement affiliation has nothing to do with the outrageous conduct of the Montreal police. Rabbi Scheier stays. The rioters go. And if the rioters are foreigners, they must be deported immediately. Instead, the rioters will be allowed to stay - that is, unless they have English-language signs with letters that are larger than the French signs. However, given the quirks of Quebec jurisprudence, Law 101 might exempt violent Islamic rioters.

It is good to be part of the New Right.

Ezra Levant is 52. When it comes to numbers and math we must forgive JP.
Marty Makary is a very good pick!
Who are you guys in favor of to serve in Trump’s cabinet?
Ezra Levant is much younger than 70!
Yeah he's my age. Early 50s. We both went to U of Alberta law school in the late 90s. He hasn't aged well.
