I altered John's hair color from this mod, the easiest way to do this would be opening shop_items.ymt, and replace all
tint0 value="11"/ with tint0 value="16"/
tint1 value="8"/ with tint1 value="13"/
and tint2 value="13"/ with tint2 value="18"/
Using ctrl + h keys
This method probably isn't the most efficient but I haven't noticed anything weird while using it so I don't care

@Garland846 Agreed. Overtime, I grew to prefer John's hair in RDR, particularly for this point. I used to wonder why it wasn't as long and messy as in the artwork, but now I appreciate how it shows that he's more civilized and conformed to the civilian life.
@Garland846 but it would be cool if he had the right hair color ( and personally a haircut more like rdr1 in 1907 would have been very enjoyable. Or something like if you don't wash, as arthur and as john, during too much time, their hair become more like that, but well it's far too late for me to have hope)

Thanks, I don’t think it’s quite 1,000 hours but it’s definitely too close. Keep in mind I did speed certain parts of the shootout up because, well the real John Marston would be a lot quicker than what’s possible in game.

Just use JMRE, it's the best John mod out now and it gives him a better hair color.

The face texture is compatible with everything besides other face textures for John. If you want the head model with WhyEm's DLC you have to use this www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/2237

@@samarvir126 I'd reccomend John Marston Restored and Enhanced now. It's basically an upgraded JMRP that allows John to use his own assets and removes the neck seam thanks to the removal of the Arthur Marston body.
Im just trying to fibd a mod that chabges Johns face and hair. But I downloaded JMRP, and that didn't work and I also downloaded the Classic Cowboy mod, and that also didn't work. Only the outfut worked. The face kept turning black, so I had to delete one of the facial mods (Thibk it was the scars), but nothing works! What do I do?

What's your load order for these mods?
I don’t remember, the load order shouldn’t be too important, most are compatible with each other. If your game crashes when you have all of them installed look for files that appear more than once and decide which one you will delete. Let me know if you need help.
