I love the gangs interactions with eachother. You could tell they are all flawed but care about one another and actually stand up for an American virtue. It’s all Micah and the death of Hosea that the downfall truly began.
Currently on my first playthrough with my girlfriend, minimal spoilers, all I knew was Arthur gets TB, I noticed right when it happened from all the context clues on why the debt couldn't be paid and coughing (I call it chekovs cough, nobody in a written work will cough unless the story needs them to be sick) Earlier today I told her "of all the gang, I think I like Hosea" she does too. I ain't gonna tell her.
I'm starting to think that Dutch didn't send someone out to check on Arthur, but just to see if he's still in the area and not trying to escape from Dutch's grasp.
If you stay away from the main story a long time in Guarma Dutch will also get someone to find you and if you accept to come with them you'll Spawn at camp which breaks the game and main story.
This only happens if you have an important mission that needs done at camp and you're not going back to camp from a long time. One time I had the mission where you find out Jack was kidnapped at camp but I was trying to see if the Ghost in the swamp would spawn and Charles found me. When I had no mission that needed done at camp though I could stay a year away from camp and no one ever came to track arthur
@@AshwinY the same logic applies to the jail breakout cutscenes they only happen if you have an important mission at camp (usually from Dutch or Hosea) and you get arrested.
I was so immersed in fishing and hunting animals and suddenly Javier showed up asking me if I wanted to return to the camp and I kindly refused and kept doing my things lmao
I'm in chapter two haven't gone to camp in a while, I upgraded absolutely everything for those ungrateful bastards and you've just given me a new mission I ain't going back till they send someone like this
If you stay away from camp long enough before the bank robbery at the end of chapter 4 Sadie will actually come looking for you. It's extremely random. I was just grinding challenges getting as much done as I could before Guarama.
I've settled at Clemens Point, I'm on a replay after a year or more since last play. Decided to hold here to explore, hunt and see the world before I head on in the story. I've been here ages, I play a few hours here and there Red dead is a great place to just do your thing, there's still things I'm finding all the time. Truly immersing game. Compares to the Fallout series on that level imo. Anyone got any others, some real open world games that have this kind of immersion?
My third play through and I'm holding at Clemens Point as well. However, when I was riding back in to camp Dutch was talking about the kidnap of Jack and I turned around and ran away. So my Free Roam days are numbered and I'm not ready to go to chapter 4 by a long shot.
When I experience these kind of encounters, if I was planning to go back to camp anyway, I appreciate, that by agreeing to accompany them back, you make it to camp even quicker than, had you fast traveled.
Bro god of war winning 2018 game of the year was the most scammed award yet. Just to see how much love they put into this game, every possible choice of playstyle rewards with a different outcome. 2018 game awards was scammed. Played both and GOW was a good come back to the series but its not as near as complex as RDR2. Its a shame.
“Are you coming back?” Why so I can carry everyone? Encourage EVERYONE. Pay for everything. Settle everything. Be the glue for every mission. Wrangle the moron leader who is more bothersome than any other thing he’s capable of doing. The game has tremendous strengths and then the writing and decision making by story tellers were so absurd. SPOILERS: Shoot I’m playing right now. I just timed making a few hundred split point pistol rounds at the fire of the trapper near Black Bone Forest, my absolute favorite hunting area, took me 4 real time minutes. I’ve bought 4 versions of this game. Got the Ultimate Edition twice (second time was just to be able to own the physical copy) Played for almost 1000 hours. It’s my fourth play thru. And I’m finally gonna freeze In Chapter 2 and let Arthur live. I’ll do all I can to either avoid Dutch the dirt bag or antagonize him. Even during missions where we all have to ride horseback with him at the helm I just collide with his horse so his dialogue is absolutely interrupted. It’s the only thing close to killing him. The guy who writes off a 20 year friend and right hand man for a rat. Dutch sucks. Arthur is the best. And I love this game. Can’t get enough.
As much I enjoy RDR2's open world and free roam, the story is a weak point, and if there was ever a way to mod in new cutscenes and endings, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
That's the problem with any Prequels. Certain characters are practically untouchable due to the all powerful PLOT ARMOR of the games/movies that the story had already written out. Thus, Dutch's stupidity is on steroids... for the ploT!
(9 months late) I get this encounter all the time, at LEAST once an irl day when I play. I’ve played this game all the way through 4 times to get all 4 endings, always ended up finishing with high honor though, could never leave John or my horse. Now I play just to play. For the sake of it. For the way my Nakota (that I stole from the racer by strawberry) is always throwing a tantrum. For the way camp feels when I bring Shawn home and everyone is telling stories and singing and Mary (gang Mary) asks Arthur to dance. For the way that same Mary asks Arthur to sit down and unload all the terrible things he’s done and he confides in her (she has a crush on him am I the only one that noticed?). For the fishing trip with Jack, the brawl at the bar, the raid on the braithwait manor. The view from mount shaun, the way Arthur looks at the sister and says “I’m afraid” full stop. For Sadie and the fire in her soul, for uncle and his lumbago, for John and his “mysterious nature” Nothing will ever top the love I have for this game. It is to me what Minecraft is for a lot of people, a place I can go after a long work week to live a short life of peace. I haven’t finished a game in a couple of years, I just keep starting over. Eating that shit up
During chapter 3 after the Valentine bank heist, I left the camp for awhile spending all of my money and hunting every legendary animal that was available during Arthur’s chapters. Then Bill pops out outta nowhere. No way this drunk unstable dimwit was able to track Arthur down in the wilderness with Arthur wearing the entire ghost bison outfit (that’s what I was wearing when he found me). Charles and Javier I can understand. But Bill is literally drunk 80% of the time and even Jack is smarter than him while being 3 or 4 years old then Bill ever would be in his life
He only sends 3 to find you, after that, they stop coming, I have been focusing on completing challenges, among other things, haven't been back to camp in probably 40 50 hours of game play. After you get the legends of the east satchel, there isn't any reason to go to camp until you are ready to move on to the next chapter.
theres something badass about Arthur when he refuses to go with them. Especially that moment with Charles when Arthur is with that gatling gun, arthur is full of plans too
@@pablo12212 Cool, thanks. I'm getting up there - in Chapter 2, 3rd play through. I didn't bother to hunt legendary animals the first time through, now I'm doing my best to get a bunch of them early, and complete as many challenges as I can.
I like how my Arthur made a boat load of money while he was away from camp for months only to go back and be worried about some chump change Dutch left in Blackwater. By the time Arthur came back to camp with enough money to buy the island of Tahiti, Dutch was still talking about his plan to get to Tahiti.
I can imagine Arthur enjoying the sights of the world and making money outside the gang but nothing means more to him than the gang and he’d surely return after realising that he’s been away for too long.
I was off for a bout the day doing many challenges and he came for me to go back to camp. Then Dutch has been worried for Arthur dialogue appeared in camp. lol Just 1 in game day on PC. Never happened to me on PS4 till like in game week.
I still remember having Bill pop up for the first time, how cool I thought the detail was. (And still is.) Went back with him because he seemed like he genuinely missed Arthur. I was always polite to everyone at camp, neat that it feels like they want you around when you bust ass to contribute.
Thats me lmao i be so busy collecting stuff and trying to make Arthur rich so at least when he dies he did everything and was rich 😂 i experience all 3 of them trying to get me back to camp 😂
The fact they recorded all these lines for all these different characters, on the off chance a player might do this, is mind blowing lol. Rockstar are truly unmatched when it comes to stuff like this.
Funny thing, I never realized this could happen till I was hunting Satchel Crafting supplies (I managed to craft the LOTE Satchel as early as Chapter 2) I was taking so long that Bill came to check if Arthur was okay lol
I found this on my first play through. Charles found me right after I killed some wolves. Scared me. The wolves were the last animal skin I need for the legendary satchel. So I was already going to head back to camp so I went with him lol. Perfect timing
I remember going out for a while, robbing coaches and houses, came back and put almost $600 in the box so I could do upgrading, the next in game day I got Dutch yelling at me for not contributing and I’m like ??? I just put half my money in there!!
Only ever got called back once, usually swing by with a buck or two since apparently I’m the only one that can hunt…. Was genuinely surprised and thought, well since Charles went out of his way I don’t want to waste his time… I’ll go

I love the gangs interactions with eachother. You could tell they are all flawed but care about one another and actually stand up for an American virtue. It’s all Micah and the death of Hosea that the downfall truly began.
Currently on my first playthrough with my girlfriend, minimal spoilers, all I knew was Arthur gets TB, I noticed right when it happened from all the context clues on why the debt couldn't be paid and coughing (I call it chekovs cough, nobody in a written work will cough unless the story needs them to be sick)
Earlier today I told her "of all the gang, I think I like Hosea" she does too.
I ain't gonna tell her.
@@JFTSwiertzit’s been a bit, how does she feel about Hosea now lmao
Javier came just before the last mission with Arthur... It seemed very suspicious and not a very friendly visit but more like an ambush..😅
almost 6 years and I'm still finding new easter eggs... Crazy
I'm starting to think that Dutch didn't send someone out to check on Arthur, but just to see if he's still in the area and not trying to escape from Dutch's grasp.
Seeing as how these encounters can happen in beaver hollow (from what I’ve heard), that may be the case, at least in chapter 6.
*arthur go backs to camp*
Dutch: i hope you brought some money for us
Lol charles probably like what the hell is he doing with gatling gun
0:07 the fact that this is the most replayed part is just sad
💀
U only know that coz u went to replay yourself

@@ValiantWrestlingBeing the grammar police is extremely lame my guy. Put that energy somewhere else, like a job.
If you stay away from the main story a long time in Guarma Dutch will also get someone to find you and if you accept to come with them you'll Spawn at camp which breaks the game and main story.
You can't even leave guarma.
@@AshwinY
Which is why the OP said you spawn at camp instead of being allowed to leave on your own.
WHY DID YOU ADD THAT SADIE CLIP IN THE BEGINNING?!?!?!? 0:05

HOT DAMN SADIE SHE GOT THAT CAKE 😍🍑
😭
be better if it was mary beth and her round melon looking tits
Maturing is realizing Arthur was better without the camp
best ending for the intro
"As you can see I'm doing fine." He says, with an entire machinegun set up in a wagon.
Okay.. Good i didnt know 👍
@@AshwinY the same logic applies to the jail breakout cutscenes they only happen if you have an important mission at camp (usually from Dutch or Hosea) and you get arrested.
I was so immersed in fishing and hunting animals and suddenly Javier showed up asking me if I wanted to return to the camp and I kindly refused and kept doing my things lmao
I'm in chapter two haven't gone to camp in a while, I upgraded absolutely everything for those ungrateful bastards and you've just given me a new mission I ain't going back till they send someone like this
me: *Donates 200 bucks to camp.*
Dutch: WE NEED MONEY ARTHUR, you need to contribute!
How dutch sends them to check out on aurthur but doesnt send anyone to help him when hes in colm's basement
That was the moment I started to despise Dutch.
If I was Charles I would’ve asked Arthur if I can join whatever he’s gonna do with that big ass gun on a wagon
The Stalker games are good, iffy graphics but if your on pc then mods could help, fun game
The fact Javier says "hey Friend" proves once again Javier is one of Arthur's greatest friends and must've felt so much guilt when siding with Dutch.
We're literally still talking about RDR2 to this very day many years later, and we already forgot about God of War's sequel.
@@Fxrrxt2xWell that’s what echo chambers do.
Have you considered that's just because you like one game more than the other?
@@Pugkin5405 Nah, Fxrrxt2x makes a lot of sense tho
@@artemis1993 Right. Pretend I copied and pasted my comment again
Arthur ignore everything and then said to his horse - “Alright Boy”😂
I haven't experienced it yet, but I'm not going back to Horseshoe Overlook, Dutch is waiting and we're going to have to move. I refuse to!
“Are you coming back?”
Why so I can carry everyone?
Thus, Dutch's stupidity is on steroids... for the ploT!
so weird. just play dude it aint that deep
@@RyuHazaki agreed! I’ve thot the same
@@HP-in8pl right. Can’t change the future. Except the Connor family maybe?
_”I ain’t dead yet.”_
Aww man, now my face is shedding tears already.
Gotten the Charles and Javier ones so many times, but never the Bill one, near 6 years playing the game lol
ive never gotten this and ive been away from the camp for probably months of in-game time
Doing the exotics missions led to this all the time
Now that was funny! I may have to try that myself. I'm sure Dutch is only worried because he wants Arthur's contributions. LOL
Imagine running into Trelawny in the wilderness. Now that's when you know it's time to head back to camp.
Been a few years since ive played this game. I wish i could start over, clean slate like ive never played it before. Amazing game.
Rdr 2 is one kind of a cozy game
For Sadie and the fire in her soul, for uncle and his lumbago, for John and his “mysterious nature”
Nothing will ever top the love I have for this game. It is to me what Minecraft is for a lot of people, a place I can go after a long work week to live a short life of peace. I haven’t finished a game in a couple of years, I just keep starting over. Eating that shit up
The lone wolf imagery is a nice touch.
Over 6,000 hours in the game, and weeks away from camp, and I've never gotten any of these encounters. 😢
Stay away from camp for a a longer time. They will come.
Great video Nice view of Sadie as well at the beginning 😉
The wise words of Javier Escuella come to mind:
"BIG TIDDIES, FAT ASS".
theres something badass about Arthur when he refuses to go with them. Especially that moment with Charles when Arthur is with that gatling gun, arthur is full of plans too
Im pretty sure they added this as a way to remind players where camp is if they forgot and can't find it on the mini map. Good game design.
"What have you been doing?"
"Side quests"
I've had people come for me before but how long do you have to be gone for before they come?
10 days in game i think
@@pablo12212 Cool, thanks. I'm getting up there - in Chapter 2, 3rd play through. I didn't bother to hunt legendary animals the first time through, now I'm doing my best to get a bunch of them early, and complete as many challenges as I can.
I like how my Arthur made a boat load of money while he was away from camp for months only to go back and be worried about some chump change Dutch left in Blackwater. By the time Arthur came back to camp with enough money to buy the island of Tahiti, Dutch was still talking about his plan to get to Tahiti.
Amazing detail I would never see it on my playthroughs. Arthut always go back to the camp, I luv to greet-greet-antagonize them.. 😅
Bill found me outside Saint Denis while I was using the horse glitch to complete the compendium
I can imagine Arthur enjoying the sights of the world and making money outside the gang but nothing means more to him than the gang and he’d surely return after realising that he’s been away for too long.
You can hear the joy in Arthur's voice when he sees his gang. It's wholesome.
why is nobody talking about that intro shot at 0:05
Probably because it’s dumb and shouldn’t have been included?

I was off for a bout the day doing many challenges and he came for me to go back to camp. Then Dutch has been worried for Arthur dialogue appeared in camp. lol
Just 1 in game day on PC. Never happened to me on PS4 till like in game week.
1:28 🤨 SUS.... on Bill.
Doesn’t really work.
?
It ain’t sus. He just has a nervous disposition.
Bill doesn’t like showing positive emotions.
I still remember having Bill pop up for the first time, how cool I thought the detail was. (And still is.)
Went back with him because he seemed like he genuinely missed Arthur.
0:05 Damn
that one with Bill was genuinely wholesome, he seemed worried about Arthur
That intro tho lol. Gyatt!
Funny thing, I never realized this could happen till I was hunting Satchel Crafting supplies (I managed to craft the LOTE Satchel as early as Chapter 2)
I was taking so long that Bill came to check if Arthur was okay lol
👇👍People who think this channel is amazing
I've had charles find me after weeks of not coming back, and as soon as i came back and left again charles found me the next day lol
I found this on my first play through. Charles found me right after I killed some wolves. Scared me. The wolves were the last animal skin I need for the legendary satchel. So I was already going to head back to camp so I went with him lol. Perfect timing
So, is everyone gonna ignore the great view of Sadie's... ASSets at the start?
Might be one of the mechanics for newbie game players who actually got lost and cannot find a way back to camp.
Was genuinely surprised and thought, well since Charles went out of his way I don’t want to waste his time… I’ll go
Arthur actually seems to be happy each time. He genuinely says hi
"Why couldn't Arthur just use his cell phone" - Anyone born after 2000
Once I had an encounter with Javier, he said it was pure luck to find Arthur in the way and then he asked Arthur helping him to save Bill because Bill was captured by a bunch of bounty hunters, Arthur and Javier rode to hunters camp, shoot everyone there and save Bill
It don’t surprise me bill tried to find him this was when bill actually cared about Arthur and didn’t go crazier
