After two consecutive wins, Jason Garrett and the 4-2 Cowboys roll into Soldier Field to take on Erik Kramer and a struggling Bears squad.
Pat Summerall and John Madden are on the call for FOX. Enjoy!
R.I.P John & Pat one of the best commentators to every to do it 💯
I like where John Madden explains how the plays are called at around 18:37. One of the best things about John was to state things in an informative way that people could understand.
R.I.P. Pat Summerall and John Madden two Legends 🙏
I miss when Soldier Field looked like this.
One of only a handful of games Summerall and Madden did in Chicago in their FOX years. They were mainstays there throughout most of their CBS years but the Bears were so lousy for most of the 90s that they rarely ever got top billing on FOX.
Classic Soldier Field.
Completing the most passes is a misleading stat. Usually it means your team is always behind, and you're throwing all the time.
Kruetz was a very good player
I was 8 years old at this game… now I’m 32 and still a die hard bears fan… Bear down always!!!!!!
god we stunk in the 90s glad I was stumbling around the house as 6 year old, now the bears make me stumble around drunk.
My first Bears game with my Dad n Brother
I love it Each time when i see how different it looked back then
this is the game I've been using as an example for all these years of why you don't go for 2 pt conversions early in the game.
I liked the old Soldier Field more. The remodel ruined it
Bears were so bad in Wannstedt’s last 3 years. He should’ve been fired after the ‘97 season. He didn’t have a ton of talent, but he was VERY involved in the draft process. I’m ‘95, he drafted a punter in the second round. And then trading a high first rounder prior to the ‘97 season for Rick Mirer. It’s embarrassing to even type!
the youtube algorithm suggested this to me. i was at this game
I know he had some good games as a backup QB(Thanksgiving against the Packers) but J.Garrett was hard to watch in this game, just can’t scramble or find anyone that wasn’t his first read.
Nice one. Thank you.
I remember they thought we was gonna lose.
Fox always thinks we're gonna lose lol
Thanks!
Ryan Bush, by any chance, do you have Dallas vs Green Bay -1999? Thank you for another great upload.
Yes, I do have the game. But it will be a few weeks until I can get it up. Having some trouble with the file on the disc right now.
Ryan Bush, do you have access to Bears at Packers 1999? The Walter Payton game. It would mean the world if you could even point me to a website that has it. Walter Payton has been a constant in my life that has always given me the courage to never give up.
Payton’s death was the only time I cried after an athlete died. Superb human all around.
Just one of many losses in cowboys history of losing to backup QBs since I have been watching football. SMDH
Erik Kramer doesn't qualify as a "backup" QB. Led Detroit to the playoffs in 1991 and started many games for Chicago during the 1990s.
@@RyansCowboysCorner he replaced Rodney Pete for because Pete was sidelined with injuries. That’s a back up coming in for the normal starter
@@sportscardsreportcards But Kramer was the STARTER for the Bears IN THIS GAME
Had a phenomenal’95 season, one of the very very few prolific offenses the Bears have had. Terrible defense led them to miss the playoffs, however.
Do you have the Monday Night game against my Eagles from that season? Or the Week 16 game?
Yes, I have both. I'll work on posting that MNF game this week.
Well, I thought I had the MNF game. Just finished looking for it and couldn't find it. So I'll post the later meeting instead. Sorry about that.
@@RyansCowboysCorner its ok. The game is up in the Library anyway. It's all good. Your doing a great job with these uploads. Keep them coming.
Kevin Smith getting cooked like ground beef this whole game.
He was never the same after tearing his Achilles in 95'. He had a decent reputation until 98'. Probably because our defenses were generally good and he was protected alot.
Without the Achilles tear the Deion/Smith combo could have been legit elite instead of on paper elite. Maybe we never sign Deion in 95' if Smith stays healthy though.
do you have the cowboys at bears week 3 from 2007?
No, I do not.
GO BEARS!!! 🏈🐻🙌🏾
Nice video!
