In his defense , she had been threatening to murder people basically the entire time he knew her . Her entire 'resume' was filled with pictures of her killing people , so it isn't really that far off a stretch . . .
Naw monsters are forever changed. For their humanity is the first to go. Though they might act like tamed beasts they will resort to past disgressions given the chance. She is no monster. No she is just being learning the rules of humanity.
@@SpiderLilyMoon To me 'Monster' is a view of not who you are,but how you act. There's a line between being a humorously chaotic character, and being the beast everyone thinks they perceive.
This scene is both incredible and hilarious to me. Ballister is doing what Nimona taught him (be skeptical, stand up for yourself, be assertive) while Nimona is doing what Ballister taught her (trust people, be genuine, form relationships). They’re both reacting exactly as they should, and it comes to a head when Nimona, reasonably upset and frustrated, starts to transform, and Ballister, not afraid to fight, moves to defend himself. Character development.
Nimona is one of my favorite movies but while he could have handled the situation better he wasn't really wrong. He asked 'is this you' rather than just believing the information against her. Then she wouldn't answer him which doesn't inspire confidence. He was scared too, scared that he was being led to causing harm and doing things he doesn't believe in by someone he's known for a very short period of time directly after being betrayed by people who had built decades of trust with him. Nimona isn't the only person's who's feelings needs to be considered in this scene.
100% agree. Nimona totally was wronged throughout the movie, however I feel that she should have been empathetic to others who were also wronged. Acting like a villian does not change others' view of you otherwise. She wanted him to be a villian, because she was seen as a villian. Misery loves company. And as much as it hurt, he was right. She isn't going to be seen as anything other than a villian if all she contributed was violence and stealing. She may have been a victim, but that didn't make her faultless. He was helping her understand this, even if he was going about it the wrong way.
I feel so relatable for her. Like it's crazy how people that are close to you... That SHOULD'VE known you better. Still don't trust you and basically like the rest of people judging by stereotypical or look. It hurts so much to the heart. And the feeling won't fade.
@antoniomartinez4737 oh. Lol 🤣 but if i were him, i would tryna understand her tho, like why did she always talk like that? Is that some reasoning... Etc. cause you know, people are not born evil like that evil. Unless they are a true villain haha😅
To be fair she literally pressured him into saying it. (Demanded even. Even though he paused which speaks volumes) He was upset and confused and pushing back wasn’t gonna prove or help anything.
To be fair, her attitude and demeanor has given him the impression that she’s a violent psycho. There’s moments that made him doubt that. But he hasn’t known Nimona that long. He barely knows her much at this point. How can you not be worried when someone you’ve only known for a few days/weeks, has violent, psychotic tendencies, and may be able to level entire civilizations? Maybe after a year or two, he’d know her enough not to be wary. Thing is, Nimona is a sheep. Society put the wolf’s clothing on her. But no one knows what to make of a girl that can be anyone/anything.
That's not true! She is a friend that doesn't want to be alone and doesn't want to be called a monster. No matter what she said like that she wanted to be a villain, because in the past she finally had a friend that turned out to be a queen in the future that she was told she is a monster! They treated her like a monster, they looked at her from her actions that she is a monster, attacked them, harmed them, and threatened them. And after all that... She was always being called a monster, and turned into a darkness filled with anger, sadness, and despair. And the REAL villain is the advisor that swapped Bal's sword that she created an upgraded weapon that can destroy half of the city! NOT Nimora!!!
“I was going to say, lost”. “Wha-“?! “You’re lost Nimona. Society pushed you away and you’ve been lost trying to belong to someone, something, somewhere. You’re making it hard for me to trust that you’ll keep hold of my hand to guide you. And I don’t know you enough to keep stumbling around in the dark. I never wanted to BE the villian. But you pushed me into it! I want to guide you to the light. But you’re not telling me everything so I can hold you tight. So. How did you become lost? Why”?
😡how dare you say that to a child NEVER JUDGES A BOOK by it’s cover or judge a person by there appearance 😡maybe people themselves are monsters themselves by not realizing that
I like how this movie set this up, they both have pretty valid responses to the situation

By all accounts, a justified suspicion
This was an image of a massacre. Sure she has killed but that photo was an obvious lie
I think this photo would s a lie, which makes it very suspicious
If you watched the whole movie you would understand 😔

I love the movie because both have such valid emotions.
She looks so sweet and hurt
Good sir, she murdered people, that's like saying Ted Bundy looks so helpless when he was finally caught by police lmfao
Right, that’s what I really like about this movie
@Royaubrey-p9 how is it called again i want to watch the movie again
It's called Nimona
Thank you
when she was at the statue her wailing almost made me cry and she deserved so much better😢

Right, and I very much hope he understands

he does, he thinks it through and apologizes. It's a good movie, you should check it out.

same energy as "why won't you adopt me"by the way
I feel like the music edited in really takes away from the tensity of the scene lol
I’m sorry if the music gave you a bad viewing experience
shouldve been an tv show instead of a movie
It was the last project of the blue sky studio, after they were closed, netflix took it to complete what was missing
What are you talking about the movie was great
Budget would be lower

Idk what he meant, but if we kept the same quality and made it a TV show to get more content, I'd fw that 100%
