Thank you for having one ingredient when you said that is what you were going to have. So many videos say one ingredient or two and then they actually include multiple ingredients.
It's called brigadeiro in Brasil. But we roll it in coconut flakes, chopped nuts, white or chocolate shavings, chocolate sprinkles, etc. So simple and delicious.
During the pandemic when no yeast was on shelves and the dairy aisle was empty, I found Condensed Milk and Condensed Milk Cake. Now, the pantry always has Condensed Milk as I never knew all that Condensed Milk can do 🤯 😭 Thank you 🥰

Umm, it’s called Caramel. They make it all the time. Some Chefs just boil the can of condensed milk for hours rather than frying the moisture out quicker.
This is absolutely amazing, I made this as a kid and sold it. It is a very popular delicious and very simple Candy/dessert in Africa. This brought back my childhood memories 💕 from Sweden
In Brasil, we call this brigadeiro. Same method, except we roll the balls in shaved chocolate, white chocolate, chopped nuts, chocolate sprinkles, colored sprinkles, basically anything you like as long as it could be dipped into it. ❤
Ts not the hear you need to watch, it's the water. The can WILL explode if it boils dry so check regularly and top up with more boiling water regularly

I'm going to tell you the most easiest and tastier recipe. 1 pack tennis biscuits (or Marie biscuits) I cup hot black coffee 1 tin dessert cream or fresh cream 1/4 tin caramel treat Mix cream and caramel treat. Can add some instant coffee if want coffee flavor to it. Dip biscuits in hot coffee and layer in bowl. Then layer cream mixture over biscuits. Then layer some biscuits again Then layer cream mixture Top with some flaked chocolate
Try adding about 150g of dessicated coconut at beginning. Cook it out but keep it white. Turn off just as it's starts turning brown. Roll into balls when cool, eat like that or melt a bit of chocolate and dip one side.
Gina, have you ever taken a can of Eagle Brand Condensed Milk and made a caramel pie from it, by “ boiling the CAN “ ? Let me know if you want the instructions. Super rich. Super good. ( I only use Eagle Brand because I am not positive that other brands CANS will hold up while being boiled. )
Actually, this Recepie is very, very old and my Mom used to do that 50 years ago. Because NESTLE Condensed Milk is very oldest and reliable brand. Even today Nestle has this recepie in their Free Cooking Tips Book.
Ooo! Is this where it gets turned into dulce da leche (sp?)? This certainly seems less dangerous than a pressure cooker and much faster than boiling the can unopened for 3 hours then waiting for it to cool! Oops! Nope-- but I want to try this too! Thanx so much for sharing! Take good care!😊
This is called Khoya in India. It is a raw material for several sweet dishes. You could add chopped roasted almonds, pistachio and cardamom powder to make the dish more interesting.
Update! Thank you for the ❤️, Gina. You deserve a million hearts. I’ve made this twice since watching your video and it was a huge hit. I love cooking simple yet delicious desserts and this certainly didn’t disappoint.
Simplest and easiest way....take label off sweetened condensed milk can....place can in a medium pot and boil condensed milk for two hours....take can out of hot water....sit in cold water until all the way cool....open can after cooling and you have caramel....store in tight lid and container in refrigerator
