I feel like most people don't realize just how versatile sweetened condensed milk can be.. I used it to make a multitude of recipes better.. I love it with maple syrup.. I mix it 1 to 1 in a small saute pan on medium low heat just until it lightens changes color.. then drizzle that over my blueberry pancakes(or any other type), as well as French toast.. just elevates it enough without going overboard

      Condensed IS sweetened.
Where you’re confusing it is with Evaporated Milk. Which is not sweetened.
Best of luck and enjoy the recipe.

    What did you make?
Is this like a 1 ingredient fudge or soft toffee? I don't get it?

I tried it, it just burned the bottom of the pan, never got thick. Tried boiling it in the can too. I'll never do that again

It's Carmel .. . You can also take the can put in in boiling water every 30 min turn the can over with a pair of tongs. Add water as it evaporates, keeping it at a boil. Keep turning every 30 mins for three hours. this will result in the best Carmel you ever tasted in your life. When done. Let cool in water. Then put in fridge over night. Next day open with can opener. You can use to put on any dessert ice cream coffee or even inside cake.. it will be your go to dessert you can't live without❣️🎉 condensed milk is just milk cooked down with sugar. Adding a teaspoon of butter on pan thickens in when cooking it helping turn it brown and carmelizing it ...

Make two holes in the can of milk use a piece of cloth to gently plug the holes place can in sauce pan with water just barely above the holes slowly boil n simmer for 5 minutes now remove can and cloth from the holes get can opener and fully open the can and enjoy a very tasty sweet kinda moose type of desert
I find a clean jay cloth best twist the corners into to two holes you make in the can
Do not leave in the pan unsupervised
Always make more than one hole
