  • Australian Army Why Enlist in 2020 is obvious but so many have influential people around them that have never served that doubt you can do it or think why would you despite living under the umbrella of protection provided by those that serve in the footsteps of the ANZAC's.
Australian Army Training will transform you from the person you are now to the adult, soldier and mentor to others that you will be for choosing action over words and enlisting in the Best Small Army in the World in 2020.
Australian Armies best asset is their people so step up and make friends for life, create a secure future in these testing times, live an adventure that pays you to travel and never feel lonely as you share the experience with those not of your blood you call brother.
Create a Legacy that your future family will be proud of as you stand for something and bring honour to your family name, watch your Grandfather nod with respect as you sign the dotted line.
Live a life so different to those that used to surround you in your civilian life, enlist into the tribe in 2020 and leave no what if's behind you as we fertilise your future with the action you take now.

You make a lot of great points in this video Cas and I’ve got to say you’ve made me feel a lot more confident with my choice of joining the Army. I was offered an earlier enlistment day and I head off for Kapooka on the 31st of this month. It’ll be a tough process but it’s a once in a lifetime experience. Cheers 👍

I believe if you cannot handle/deal with stress or control your depression/anxiety, then definitely do not join the Military. The Army will not baby you as soon as you set foot in basic training you’re a soldier and all soldiers can deal with such trauma/challenges. My best advice is face your fears or don’t join at all. By the way, I love Cas and his videos, he is honest and always uses terms “you” basically I love how he directs every video to the viewers!!

If there is anyone reading this. Just would like to say don't think twice. Just do it. As i held off and said I would join later this never came.
Been stuck in mundane boring jobs the last 25 years working for the man. Now I'm 40 I got diagnosed with M.S at the age of 35 so my chance to do it even the reserve were smashed over night.
The military was ment to be my calling but I let friends and a civilian job get in the way of it. And those friends I do not even know now. That job long is long gone.
But I am very proud of my brother he is over 20 years now in the ADF. It definitely gave him a life and still is. Thank you Mark.

Hey Cas I don’t know If you remember me but I told you a while ago I was going for the army and that I was nervous, i’m proud to say I made it for all three of my options and await Kapooka as soon as there’s an opening for me in Emergency responder, which is roughly a year, or so they told me. I also made rifleman and Cav as well. I’m so bloody excited for it, I cannot wait to start my life. This has given me something to strive towards, something to work for, the purpose i have now even before signing the dotted line is incredible, my physical fitness grows by the day in anticipation of Kapooka, I wish it wasn’t so seemingly far away, but I have my foot firmly in the door and that’s what counts. Thank you for helping me get here Cas, I have donated in a few of your streams but I simply will never be able to repay you. I hope one day I can shake your hand mate, cheers for getting this 22 year old off his ass and into his dream.

Best job i ever had ! and now my son is at One hes loving the life i often talk about ,its not for everyone and most of the naysayers have never been part of it. . It has its risks and demons that you may encounter and because of publicity in the mainstream media a lot of society believe that if you join the military you will have mental and physical issues full stop but that is just not the case.It took me all over the world and gave me many brothers/mates/family im still in contact with today, i can tell you the people i worked with in my first job i wouldn't even remember who they were .

Hey Cas, I was always going to join & I never did. I left school after grade 10, worked in the building industry & started an apprenticeship. I’m now a qualified builder & an aircon technician, married with 2 kids. I am 42 years old & thinking about joining the reserves. My wife is against it. Haha...
I’ve always been fit & I train hard & I’m a hard worker. What are your thoughts Cas about joining at my age?
    I love your videos mate👌
    Cheers.

I tried enlisting, got knocked back tho cause I’m p3 colour blind and have dysgraphia and not sure appealing is worth it for the remaining roles 😕

Tyson I’d say respect what she has to say but then still follow your career 100% if you don’t have kids it’s only your decision or you could and probably end up regretting your decisions for life
