    Anyone else notice not all the scenes are from the Red Sea, they're also showing scenes from the Caribbean, green morays, Queen angels & Caribbean brain coral. Also raccoons are from North America

      Exactly! I’ve seen Pronghorn Antelope (native to the American West) in a documentary about Sub-Saharan Africa! One funny clip showed a Marsh Hen flying overlaid with the sound of a duck quacking! Do your homework people and stop spreading misinformation online!

    I’m from Bermuda, our corals are highly protected. If any one is caught killing the protected fish within them or boating near them or pollinating out into the ocean they can face thousands of dollars worth of fines and jail time. We take our environment seriously although not perfect due to more people entering the island and more tourist arrivals. we still have a group of people who work together to clean up and protect our beautiful island home lovely documentary I’m going to be studying Marine biology so this just adds to the many reasons why I want to keep on helping our oceans.

    I hate to be a stick in the mud, but, at the 1:00 mark, that scene with the black grouper, is western Carribbean and not the red sea. I'd put money that its Cozumel, Mexico (I spent years diving and photographing those reefs). In fact, there are numerous pieces of footage showing Caribbean reefs (the white spotted file fish footage around the 15:00 mark, and the grouper footage just after it too)...lame.

    • @breAnnasmama
      @breAnnasmama 4 роки тому

      Who is ahead of the times ??? Are you talking to the person who uploaded this content to their channel ? You’re aware that this person is uploading actual content that belongs to whichever network / producers that created it and own the rights to it and that this channel does not have anything to do with these actual documentaries that may be uploaded , even with the plethora of ads that these channels will sling in each video they upload , so they can selfishly benefit off monetizing videos that do not belong to them in any way shape or form , yet they do it simply to profit off exploring these existing videos for their own selfish gain ...! I see where plenty of people who watch vids on many of these channels that simply are uploading content from whichever major networks , like National Geographic, bbc, discovery , animal planet ( although AP tends to show such crap that has nothing to do with actual animals or documentaries or anything remotely decent ,‘other than whatever random stuff they can somehow pitch and actually get the thumbs up from the network to produce wks air .... idk how some of their programming actually makes it past the chopping block , as they’ve become worse and worse about their content selections/‘Options , as have most networks / channels / stations,! Whatever they prefer to be labeled as haha , as many times , I am noticing many of the stations or channels that are designated to provide content of specific nature end up deviating vastly , from that of what They are marketing that particular station to be or to show content about ..... but Anyway, sadly ( and I know I have drifted into other topic entirely haha , please forgive me , I just can’t help but say it when I have noticed many times , networks that promote themselves to be about animals /
      Nature / wildlife ,’etc. where viewer thinks ok , I will find this content here as advertised and marketed , they only find so many other shows in the mix that do not even have animal or anything related to wildlife etc. and will suddenly carry show about all these other topics , that make no sense for network that lairs Animals in their name to be inclusive of :(. But anyway , as far as this “channel “ on UA-cam is concerned , these many videos uploaded , which are all lovely and enjoyable , they are not at all property of this channel,! Nor are most wildlife documentaries you may find on many peoples UA-cam channels ... unless it has logo officially , of network or program that owns rights to the vidoes,! As obviously , bbc , National Geographic and pbs among other networks do have their own UA-cam channels and will promote their own content that that they have rights to and have produced , etc .... but unfortunately, these many channels on UA-cam will upload these wonderful contents and label them slightly differently than original film , they will post them to their channel and allow so many people to view them and comment and express their thanks and their gratitude , when all the while , they are just taking the credit for someone else’s hard work ... but this is not only thing they do, because they will take the profit from moneys obtained from monetizing their channel / videos when they have given no appropriate credit to the actual network / producer / entity with proper ownership of the content they display on their channel , which violates regulations and is copyright Infringement on behalf of UA-cam channel using video , not to mention profiting from video that does not belong to that channel of person who make the channel ... these channels , this very channel that is displaying this video right now is violating the copyright regulation where they could easily have just put into the description giving credit to actual network / entity who rightfully owns this documentary, the one who has put into it , such hard work and efforts , that is rightful owner and if ever anybody decide to get credit to make money from the video , it should be the one who actually make the video and has the rights to the video , not this channel or any other UA-cam channel that will take other people’s content and try to have credit for themselves, to act like they have ownership and as if they make the money rightfully from monetizing the video ... it saddens me when I see things done this way , when many channels will try to profit from exploiting the videos of other entity that video belongs to ... I have worked very hard for over or around 20 years by providing my work for producers of some documentaries that over the years, I have been sought out to utilize my works for , especially documentaries that have aired nationally within United States of America ,as well as independently in other countries ,too and though I never worked in the production or the filming or editing of the films, I still know and have seen the many many hours on end of long hard work that must go toward making such films .for me, it has only been my works with the music , instrumentally and vocally that some of these major networks have approached me to work on , where i have provided solo vocal work , being featured throughout documentaries soundtrack recordings and can say foe anyone who work so hard to capture and to edit and put together and produce such lovely films that allow human beings to feel like they have first hand view point into the lives of wild animals, even into places many would never be fortunate to venture , for film to concentrate such efforts in providing such realistic point of view , with the footage so raw and Just right there as occurring in reality , painting a picture for us humans who have long since had very deep interest into observing and understanding animals and their behaviors and mannerisms , as well as desire to know their minds , their inner workings ,what they are about ,‘the story they can tell , just by studying their actions and behaviors and traits to their personalities which can be observed and just given Such lovely narrative or point of view , which can shape so much of human understanding, giving us inside track or up close insight into their world their ways and point of view but anyway, my apologies for such lengthy reply to u ,I love animals / nature and these type documentaries have shaped part of who I am for very long time, beginning so early into my lifetime and continuing as i have grown in so many regards, where though I have love for music and Either singing , playing pretty much any instrument, as ive had many talents musically and artistically, since all my life I can remember & It is very big passion for me , that I love so much to enjoy , just for me to enjoy , no matter what as I never wanted to be burnt out on those areas i love so much & I began career path in that area , but began to regret what path I had chosen for myself professionally, as I’ve always loved music& art as well, but I also wanted to be a physician from so early on in my life & had to make decisions later into career path & still, I know that many ways , I reflect back & can say early on , having such love for animals and nature, having enjoyed so many documentaries/ programs featuring the wildlife, whether beneath the water or the land , i always had foundation that allowed me to build upon as I grew & I Thank many who’ve done such lovely vids like these documentaries, as they’ve def. bn part of me / my life / inspiring and gave me such expanded interest into various areas that propelled me,I feel, into further places allowing me to expand or broaden my knowledge and insight and give interest to more diversified area of animals , where even though I’ve only Bn limited to working musically /vocally with any documentaries, Outside of professional career, I have in my time , volunteered and given time and effort to many diff. Programs, to providing care for wild and domesticated animals, alike and have helped veterinarians, assisting them with my techniques and methods and even have utilized any artistic abilities as well as medical expertise to help provide care and to gain proceeds for care / emergency treatment for animals and families in need , as well as preventive care& necessary treatment for wild animals and pets , etc.and continue to be invested& involved fairly well with training and behavioral methods and techniques/ skills and providing care etc which in some ways,I owe to being exposed to such lovely documentaries early on as I truly enjoyed very much, any doc.that allowed me to learn& to just gain such a love for caring for Animals & the world around us! So when I see any doc.for viewing , I hope that same impact or similarly, for anyone else out there in some way, as it’s def. encouraged me & I just love being able to enjoy Wonderful content like this & hope especially for children, that they’d be able to enjoy & get something special out of vids like these. But I wish ppl would leave them freely avai. & not try to take advantage and exploit them for profit. I do not care for those who try & make these vids their own paycheck or handout when 1) they do not belong to them2) omg this is youtube& should not cater to those who wanna profit off other ppls content ,pass it off like it’s theirs etc. just to make $ selfishly & tarnish the Content in such ways . Like so many of these youtube channels do. I used to enjoy this channel before they began to profit off these vids they post. just can’t stand that they’re contributing to these annoying ads all over the place, as if youtube & all these entities online only violating Privacy/ rights / security online aren’t already benefiting so heavily & removing the rights of ppl who ever use these sites when their so called permissions or allowances are already so intrusive and corrupt and malicious. I do not support anyone who plasters ads via YT vids like that .. can’t stand it.

I am not asking in negative way, but I would like to know any actual references or resources that would point to this documentary being inaccurate or filled with footage from other location .... what basis do you assert such findings , I would genuinely like to know... bc before I would conclude anything after watching this and reading your comment , I would need personally , to Have such insight and information available... again, this is not meant rudely or negatively , I just would like to know what make you decide that , as it is a bold statement without giving any further Insight. Now. I do know there are plenty of instances where certain creatures are not simply found in locations outside of where conditions allow , where they may thrive or have been placed there for any reason, should there be no other reason for them to have relocated to area they do not belong or are ever found or documented , however , I do believe that we can’t just alwyss know every single thing , that there have been plenty of times when someone was so adamant that something could not and did not occur in particular location beyond where it was thought only to be , however , they have Been found to be wrong , entirely, as later further research and findings proved otherwise , which can occur especially if any animal has adapted to surroundings and if by other means , was introduced into whichever area for whatever reason ,etc.there are also instances when something is inaccurately labeled as being one type of animal or whatever , when in fact it is mislabeled ... no , I would not assume every documentary is going to fully be accurate on all accounts , in whatever they cover or provide documentation of ... there are errors among other documentaries and I am not assuming that this one would be somehow exempt from any possible error ... but chances are a but unlikely that some network or production crew or major network doing documentary in one specific location would just show footage from entirely different location and mindlessly add it to the film and make such false statements , by way of including such footage mistakenly or intentionally ... you’re suggesting that they have filmed something way across the ocean n much different location and what, intentionally given misinform or inadvertently done so ? Which do you think could’ve occurred for that to happen ? Has there been anything to dispute the actual footage/ location ? Has anyone made claims regarding their use of supposed wrong footage from other location ? Or is this just opinion and guessing based on perhaps having knowledge of or being told or of the opinion and belief that it would somehow have to be inclusive of said inaccurate content? It is really unlikely , albeit I will not say impossible ,‘but very unlikely that they’ve simply overlooked such thing and provided such warped information.... I would be more inclined to believe otherwise ... without further information to support what you’re saying , it just doesn’t seem to be likely in the slightest ... stranger things have happened , I presume .. but I would want to know what prompted that comment and standing , other than it being something that is said to not reside in one area , unless or course they were to have misidentified something native to the other area, in appearance or misnaming it by way of mistaking what they’re seeing for the other animal / fish, whatever the case may Be....!but to assert that they’d have taken footage from Caribbean and passed it off as belonging to this sea / location , why would anyone do that ? Are you saying accidentally , somehow wrong footage was mixed in and they still carried that footage and narrated it , thinking they were giving correct info and not knowing of some oversight or mishap in such a way ? I just do not think those things would be very likely ...

    Royal Angelfish grow to 30cm. firecoral is not related to soft or stoney coral as they aren't even coral. so had to stop watching because don't want to fill my head with incorrect information. 🙃
    also purple coral doesn't mean it lives in the shaded areas which your footage shows it was actually on top of the other corals. who ever did the research for this didn't try very hard. atleast you got the names of most species correct l guess🤗 I recommend people take this information with a large grain of salt. pun intended

    Gotta love how people today who were not there When anything supposedly occurred that they speculate so widely over , yet they so readily and quickly assert that they know what occurred .... as if it is factual and as if they were there , giving first hand account .... so annoying and when I hear anyone narrating documentary that says this or especially anyone giving commentary , having to get their attention and camera time, making such statements , I just cringe and it makes me completely lose any respect or at least , they lose any credibility instantly , when they jump to say such things that have not been proven and were not documented and handed down as such , for them to even speculate on. It is just conjecture and it’s fine for one to say hey, this event might have occurred in such way or this could have been this way , but to say definitively , as if they know factually , with no margin for error ? That is ridiculous and only makes them Lose any sort of credibility they MAY have had ,,,, see how I did that , there ? Bc I cannot say they had any credibility if I do not know to begin with ... I can say when they do not
    Have any with me , but haha .. that is all..
    I much prefer narrated documentary where the subject matter is just the wildlife and Nature, as it is , where we can follow the behaviors and ongoings of the beautiful animals and plant life etc , to enjoy what is being documented and have insight into what is actually occurring ,‘or what is factually known with 100% certainty and accuracy ... but never do I appreciate anything outside of that being
    Represented as true / legit ... we still have much to learn ... and passing off random theory and speculative tactics or agenda is not very intelligent or wise !

      That is why scientists rely on evidence such as geology and dendrochronology to calculate the age of the earth etc. Because no one can actually claim to have been around when certain events happened. But fortunately we don't have to rely on eye witnesses testimony which is actually the least reliable source of evidence available.

    The red sea in egypt is a dream for divers

  • @davidvento5481

    Along with Queensland, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef the Red Sea has some of the most spectacular marine fish & invertebrates on the planet. Unlike Australia one will occasionally find specimens of Red Sea inhabitants in the aquarium trade. Their outrageous prices puts them out of reach of most aquarists (and negates the possibility of over-collecting.) Australia neither exports nor imports ANY animals; no aquatic or terrestrial life whatsoever. The pet trade in Australia includes only animals indigenous to the country itself. I imagine this is to eliminate the possibility of any non-native species escaping, establishing itself and upsetting nature’s balance by outcompeting native species. Good examples of this would be invasive Burmese Pythons in Florida’s Everglades and Red Lionfish in warm water reefs from Florida up to the Carolinas in the US.
