- Insects use ingenious camouflage and defense mechanisms like mimicry and protective coloration to evade predators and blend seamlessly into their environments. Some even imitate larger, dangerous species or adopt disguises that trick predators into mistaking them for unappealing or inedible objects, enhancing their survival against constant threats. Watch as insects like the the assassin bug, who blends into its surroundings using camouflage, often mimicking the colors and textures of leaves, twigs, or bark. Some species even cover themselves in debris or remains of previous prey, creating a disguise that helps them avoid detection by both predators and potential prey.

A fascinating documentary! 🦎🌿 Creatures with incredible camouflage abilities are truly masters of survival in the wild.
Great doc. Commentator reminds me of Ze Frank minus the humor. Would be even better maybe with a touch of his lightheartedness
Zefrank is way more educational and engaging TBH
I'm there after so long...😢 Ty so much
Mantises especially make me doubt "random" evolution. no way is it random, but if not then how. i dunno. i love the mystery of it all.
Maybe they are genetic stock planted by the mantis people!
12:49 it is not known as a lion ant, instead it is an Antlion.
A "lion" of ants or predator of ants, not the other way around. Not an ant that resembles a lion or lion ant.
Thank you. I was about to correct the same mistake. 👍

Great
Absolut phantastische Doku von seltener Tiefe, wenn man den KI-Sprecher nicht beachtet.
It wud be better if they tell us what the insects are
go google them buddy
We know already, why don't you?
❤❤❤❤❤ 😊😊
AI with a British accent actually works. For the most part.
Positively weird voice over, and it's often nonsensical or incorrect. Nice pictures, though.
Projecting again?
Is this an AI script ??
They are mostly AI nowadays. I have seen ones, where not only the script and narration were AI, but also almost all of the comments and replies were AI as well. Really annoying.
Not trying to be a Karen but it's" ant lion" not "lion ant." Not trying to be a grammar gestapo but just attempting to broaden your knowledge base
Millions of years, the magic word. Just tell the stories minus the assumption.
