Yeah me too was waiting and it was not there
Ye
Yeah they should have shown us that
Ikr
It's not there in the list because it's only iconic in india and not worldwide
One of Canadas favorite snacks, ketchup chips, and you have chosen roast chicken chips as our flavour.
All Dressed too.
exactly ketchup ones are the best and they have roast chicken chips in many countries
Soooooooooo its just a videoo
We have ketchup chips here in saudi arabia too
Roast chicken and fries and gravy are limited edition flavours too. What a fail of a choice for Canada
In South Africa we have tomato sauce (ketchup), chutney, chakalaka (tomato, onion, chili relish), lamb curry, Caribbean onion and balsamic vinegar, and lots of spicy chili flavours, as well as the usual flavours. Yum!
"Gimme that potato chip"
**secretly takes one**
As a German, I have to tell you that you totally missed the german chips. There are almost only chips with paprika flavor.
Yep, unsere Chips Abteilungen i.
I don't remember the brand but there was weird bean chips in Germany last summer

In Indonesia, we have potato chips called ‘Chitato’ which are fairly thick and have large pieces, giving a lot to crunch to the potato chips. We have a flavour based on the popular instant noodles ‘Indomie’ which is pretty much just the flavouring packet from the instant noodles put on the chips making it quite salty thanks to the MSG.
There’s actually two separate Tayto brands based in Ireland, one in Northern Ireland and one in the Republic, the one you featured is based in Northern Ireland, the one in the Republic was founded first (so original) and is more popular in the Republic
Thanks for mentioning, I was weirded out by the Tayto design shown in the video. Now I know why.
I never even knew that and live there .Cheers.
So true
Apart from the spiral crisp, Thailand also has many exotic local flavors of packaged potato chips: e.g. crispy Kaprao, Larb (hot tangy pork salad), Miang Kam, grilled squid, BBQ shrimp and spicy seafood sauce, crab curry, etc
You forgot the most important one, JoppieSaus.
The Netherlands
-Lay's Patatje Joppie (translating to: fries with joppie sauce) are your usual Lay's chips, but with a layer of joppie sauce flavouring, which is sweet and savery, kinda mustardy flavour

two of my favorites when I lived in Taiwan were " Lay's Kyushu Seaweed Chips " and a " Lay's Lemon Potato Chip " that tasted like a lemonade... sweet and tangy.
Im in Canada. Chips are wildly popular here, corn and potato.
The brand Kettle Chips has been nailing their flavors. I've seen around 17 varieties over the years and some favorites are Spicy Thai, Cheddar Cheese, Korean BBQ, BBQ, jalapeño, Honey Dijon and Salt & Pepper crinkle cut. As the brand name suggests, they are kettle cooked and not reconstituted.
I also really like Terra Chips, which are a mix of different root vegetables with a few different flavors to choose from. But honestly plain is the best because there are a lot of great flavors in the different roots with nice textures as well. It's an explosion of flavor in the mouth.
the similarities between all these chips is their packaging consist of 20% chips and 80% air
You always forget Spain:( here we have Ruffles sabor jamón, they are amazing
You're really cute .
Is that your real pic.?
@@Rishabh_Raj. yes? xd
@@mariacanog4 you're beautiful.
In India we have Spanish (they claim so) flavoured chips too.
If ya want a good Irish crisp, Keoghs crisps are the way to go. They make Turkey and stuffing crisps for Christmas, and they're unreal, especially with a beer!
The ones that they showed for ireland is the ones you get in Northern Ireland. In the rest of Ireland it’s still called tayto but the flavour is cheese and onion fun fact there’s only one theme park in Ireland and it’s called tayto park and based on tayto chips as you Americans call it

“the peeled potato” shows unpeeled potato cut in spirals.
For India if you consider Lays, there is a flavour called magic masala that has chips mixed in a very special Indian spice mix. Otherwise apart from Lays we also have something called Banana chips and yes they are what you think. Instead of potatoes, banana slices are fried and then mixed with special Indian masala. But trust me it's good and no weird Banana smell comes. It is as good as potato chips if not better.
@4:04 *Spangbol* flavor? 😂 It’s Spag Bol as in spaghetti bolognese.

I’m from France and I can tell you Brest is a French brand chips but this flavor is not famous in France. It’s more Spanish taste “chorizo and peppers” that is not really French and it’s not popular here.
Chorizo is spanish yes but not chips with that flavour hahah
Yep I am looking at the New Zealand selection and questioning my entire kiwi existence. I did not even know these flavours existed here and they are definitely not our defining ones.
Chicken, salt and vinegar, or sour cream and chives are probably closer
@Food Insider where is India's magic masala flavored lays chips ??
Don't be so overproud, it doesn't matter lol
I think it’s a bad idea me watching this when I’m hungry
Food Insider: Canada has gravy roast chicken flavours-
Canada: KETCHUP CHIPS
Should've included Lay's India's Magic Masala
All Dressed, Ketchup, Dill Pickle, and Bacon are the most popular in Canada .
It's the most consistently found in our stores while any other flavours are hit or miss.
BBQ and Sour Cream are also available but never stocked as much for a reason.
I'm Proud to be Malaysian
India: Lay's Magic Masala
Where's my LAYS MASALA CHIPS , huh? 🤷
Narrator: So, which potato chip flavor do you want to try?
Me: Yes.
This is now my favourite UA-cam Channel. I've only watched 4 videos, that's enough to make me hooked 🇬🇧
Finland actually has its own chips brand, Taffel, which is based in Åland and they sell almost every chip in the country, except for Estrella, which is a Swedish chip maker.
POV: YOU ARE WATCHING THIS VIDEO WHILE EATING CHIPS
In Finland we have liqourice flavoured chips as well. Never tried them as they don't sound that good. We also get the chocolate covered ones and honey flavoured in some shops. Overall the selection here for chips is 10 times better than in the UK where I lived for a year. Some of my favourites are sweet chilli and sour cream, roasted onion and the classic sour cream and onion.
Food insider: Ireland
In reality: *shows only Northern Irish version of Tayto's*
Ikr I’m angry at insider that’s why I hate northern Irish people
I know right if you are going to say ireland do the actual tatoys
My personal favorite: "Keripik Kentang Dendeng Balado" found in West Sumatera, Indonesia. It's homemade potato chips mixed with dried beef and chili oil. Absolutely amazing!
That's a Chip Dish not a Chip Flavor
Batarscooch filewar chips it ameging
In Singapore we went through a phase where almost every conceivable type of food got the salted egg treatment, including chips. Personally I think it’s overrated but most people seem to love it...
Try golden duck instead of ivrin . Ivrin did their marketing right by opening large stores in airport and orchard road. Golden duck taste better and wholesome.
Golden Duck is far superior!
You've forgotten to put Spain on the list.
We have a crisps or chips' trademark called "Ruffles", that only sells crisps or chips flavoured with Iberic Ham
Finally Australia made it on one of these lists!
Loving salted egg potato chips .. i can empty 3 bags in 30 mins🤭🤭😁😍
Finally welsh food being shown by a massive UA-cam channel!
though not the great welsh dishes and instead some flavoured crisps.
Mountain flavoured crisps
You missed "Izmir Tulum Peynir"(Goat Cheese) from Lays. And also Çerezza "Süt Misir"(Sweet Corn). Both are my favorite flavors in Turkey.
Finally, got Malaysia in the video
Nobody care about it
When in Canada, you have to try kettle cooked all dressed flavored chips. It's a common popular flavor in Canada and I do believe this flavor is now available in some US states
This is my favorite food.
Is it a food?
@@davidjoelsson4929 how old are you?

"And if you are not careful you might eat the whole bag in one sitting." .......So you dont eat a full bag in one sitting??
In Canada, our favorite flavors are Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, Plain, and Salt & Vinegar. You can find many, many flavors though. Including in big cities many types of import Chips, especially Asian and many foreign flavored chips in name brand American and Canadian chips. Tortilla chips both name brand and authentic are also popular.
For Canadian companies we have Cheesies which are cheese powder covered potato puffs. Hickory Sticks are hickory smoke flavored potato sticks. And lays are generic name brand style potato chips that have an assortment of flavors like the above.
You missed Lays ketchup chips from Canada and ruffles all dressed chips, they r delicious. Lays ketchups my favourite!!!
In Indonesia we have chips that are fried apples which is a popular snack in malang Indonesia. The chips are called Keripik
damn I love honey butter chips!!!

Real Canadian Superstore, is accross all of Canada and a brand called Presidents Choice, produces Ridged Chips called " World of Flavours - Featuring a rotation of the most densely flavoured amazing tasting chips that taste exactly like what they describe. From Korean BBQ to Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese .
Sorry, but the choice for the Canadian chips was such a missed opportunity. Those aren't popular or unique chip flavours here, and were very recent additions to stores. In fact, the roast chicken ones, are based on Walker's crisps from the UK, where that flavour is more popular.
You should've gone with ketchup chips or all-dressed chips. Those ones are pretty much unique to Canada.
I'll have to do a review on the Canada ones. Ketchup and All-dressed. Anything else?
Walkers Roast Chicken are soooo good though! I did a review on them here. ua-cam.com/video/MxyYpkeWz0U/v-deo.html
Bit late to comment but Ketchup flavoured Walkers are popular here in the UK too, eaten them for decades! it seems that Canada and the UK have similar preferred flavours lmao
@@katr_i_na that doesn't surprise me. Haha. Probably because we're part of the Commonwealth.
Ketchup crisps arent unique to Canada, we have them in the UK, South African people are commenting about them being big there too. Unfortunately colonialism kinda means a lot of these ones arent unique. Ketchup is theorised to originally be from China too.
Not to say I wouldnt appreciate trying the different brands.
In India, particularly in the state of West Bengal, we prepare potato chips that are very thinly sliced and deep fried, we call it jhuri aloo bhaja. It can be eaten with meals as a side dish or just as it is.
Me, a Brit: *confusion intensifies*
Im English but i cant think of any english crisp flavours apart from cheese and onion or salt and vinegar
Do you need Gary Lineker to explain it for you?
@@se70fifa79 I miss the Curry flavour from the 70s and 80s
In Greece Oregano is very popular as a taste for crisps. Also you can buy crisps made with olive oil.

How the hell did you not include Ketchup chips for Canada? That's like one of our signature things. I've never even seen fries n gravy or roast chicken. Those were either limited time or an east coast thing.
In Colombia, the best chips are the Lemon-Lime chips from Lays 🍋 🔥
as a Welsh person , ive never heard of lamb and mint flavoured crisps . i didnt even know if something like that was made
4:17 finally someone talks about my country
Yeah so did new Zealand but the pick a limited run flavor
Smith crisps in Australia have served a few unusual flavours over the last few years with Peaking duck, burger with special sauce, meat pie and roast lamb with mint gravy making a show. But we have also had lamington (a sponge cake covered in chocolate & coconut) flavour chips.
Chipsfrisch: Am I a joke to you?
Damn I was searching for the paprika and oriental flavor all along
Thanks for including my country! Just a side note though, since you use the geographical names for all the other countries, please use "Czechia" instead of "Czech Republic" as well :) My country is one of the oldest in Europe, but we've only been a republic for a century :)
You had me actually watering at the mouth😂 That looked DELICIOUS 😋
Indonesia has their own Potato Chip Snacks called Chitato with many different flavors such as Seasoned Chicken, Roast Beef, Cheese, Original, Chicken BBQ, Roasted Seasoned Beef.
Roast chicken is the best flavour, been to the uk?
No way. Cheese and oniom or prawn cocktail are the best in the uk
