NOT SURE WHY SOME FIND THIS MOVIE BAD? BUT I LOVED IT!!!! THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN AVA AND DALLAS WAS AWESOME. THE OPENING SCEEN, WELL WE ALL KNOW THE TENSION WHEN SOMEONE DIES!!!
THE MOMMA BOY RELATIONSHIPS, WE ALL KNOW THATS TRUE. EVERYONE CAN NOT BE PREACHED INTO HEAVEN.
ALL CHARACTERS FIT THE SCENE. TYLER PERRY DID A WONDERFUL JOB............
CAN NOT BE SO PROUD OF MEAGAN GOOD / COREY H., CHARACTERS. WHAT THEY BROUGHT TO THE SCENCE AND BROUGHT ALIVE.......
IT WAS SUCH A BIG TWIST THROUGHT THE MOVIE. DEBBIE MORGAN AND RICHARD LAWSON MADE A PERFECT COUPLE. DEBBIE MORGAN SKILLS WAS STRONG POWERFUL AND A MOMMA BEAR.
NEVER SEEN THE SIDE OF RICHARD LAWSON BEFORE!! HE WAS THAT FATHER JUST WAITING HOS TURN!!!!!!!

@ninasimone727 facts I agree, was this similar to a lot of his movies yes, but was this better YES, the cast was great and everybody played the hell out of their roles and it was great to see some ppl who been in the game so long get this big opportunity to shine in starring roles

I disagree about everything. Nothing was realistic. It was all surface level and don’t make sense when you looked at details. The funeral scene was terrible. The writing and directing there ass horrible. Something similar to that could have happened, but those words and those actions specifically would never happen. The boys, if they were as terrible as they say, would have fought that pastor at the beginning, which he deserved. So many other details that I can’t even express. This film DESERVED the 0% on Rotten Tomatoes

You’re right, you definitely saw Tyler Perry all thru it, but I love his movies, because they captivate you, and you can’t stop watching, I don’t know why people (us) give Tyler Perry a hard time.He has the best actors.
Ppl criticize, but nobody else giving certain actors leading role opportunities or giving legends like Richard Lawson and Debbie Morgan movie roles, so yeah he might follow a certain template he does help a lot of folks with it so won't knock it......unless the movie just terrible lol
You can tell Megan Goode and Cory Hardrick was Tyler Perry’s muse for this film because this film was like a mirror of their real lives 😮
