This man didn't know how to celebrate himself. He didn't know how and didn't come from that. I did the work in my single season for a very long time. I learned this because I didn't come from that either. Now, I pour that energy into my husband no matter how small, no matter the obstacle. Not blaming anyone cause none of us are perfect. It's all a journey and experience along the way. But it makes me wonder, was his wife pouring into him? If so, did he reciprocate the energy? All I'm saying is the right partner can heal us in ways we didn't even know we needed. I wish them healing, reflection, growth, abundance, love, peace, and so much more in this season. Edit: Boom, he said it @26:21. He didn't have the support system. This is all new to him. This interview speaks volumes! Enjoy being appreciated and valued, brother. And use that energy to pour into yourself, your kids, and potential next partner 💖.

This man right here!!! I am so grateful he is right where his gifts and talents are taking him. As he speaks about parenting and covering his children’s mother is needed and so commendable. 🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾
The thing that i hated about their divorce being so public is that people automatically made him out to be some kind of bum who was being taken care of by Tia. This dude has been working long before they met. He sounds like a stand-up guy. This is why you can't listen to what you see and hear on social media.
He’s worked, but not making much money. It takes a while or high paying projects to be good financially in acting. Tia met him while he was taking a bus from a film/tv set. She already had the money. He’s probably just started making a solid income from his tv show All American. I work in the business behind the scenes and see that it’s hard for actors to get steady income or paid well. In his interview with Maino and Angela Yee, he says that Tyler Perry paid him more than he’s ever been paid during the 3 weeks he worked on this new film. So, all that tuition talk..etc, is mostly Tia’s income. She has long money from being a successful child actress all the way into adulthood. Just Google the Mowry twins. You can follow her paper trail(books, clothes, shows, etc).
Tia has the money. Just follow her paper trail. Being a working actor doesn’t equal steady income. She met him while he was catching the bus from a film/tv set. So, all the tuition he’s talking about is mostly her income. He’s just started making a steady income from the tv show All American. Film projects come out months, sometimes years after they were filmed. So, he could do 3 projects that happened to come out at the same time, but done years apart. No work no pay. Tia gets all types of residual checks and she has businesses. Just Google Tia Mowry…she has long money. Her parents set them up well with their career in the industry. He also mentioned in his Maino and Angela Yee interview that Tyler Perry has paid him more than he’s ever been paid…in just the 3 weeks he film the new movie. You hear how Taraji was complaining and she’s done big budget projects.

It’s so good to see Corey being out, open and vulnerable. I’m from Chicago and it’s good to see us win. Keep going Corey. We are rooting for your success.
He represents us well.
“I support happiness”… love it!! ❤
I love how this interview felt like 3 home boys choppin it up ❤
I've never looked at him like this, but he's looking better & better with each interview. He's everywhere, even GMA. His skin, his hair... everything about him is glowing right now. I love it!
His eyes are sad and he’s pushing through. Kudos to him.
How u see his eyes through thd shades
He takes them off at the 12:07 mark
He misses his children on a daily. Stay strong Cory.
You can tell he misses his family 😢
I hope they find their way back to each other!
I enjoyed this black dad conversation more of these please! This was a real conversation. It's teaching your kids to either be the survival of the fittest or not, no matter the generation, would definitely prefer folks don't raise kids with trauma but at least teach them not to be naive.
Yes, it warmed my heart
Yes indeed 😎
Best part of the interview
I always loved me some Cory. He really is a great actor.
I think the key is to make your kids work if they are privileged. I don’t mean just get a job. I mean do chores, cook, earn something in some way.
Salute to Cory for being humble and staying true to himself when it comes to his family morals and values. The world don't need to know your life story, nor do they need to know what goes on in your household 💯
I’ve loved Corey since Brotherly Love. Glad he’s getting his flowers 💐 & I loved the vibe of this interview. You can tell he’s really a humble, genuine soul❤
Envy was interviewing his ass off 🎉
He really was!
He’s really improved !
lmao, you ain't lying
💯
Envy asked great questions meanwhile goofy over there playing being childish. Corey didn't take the bait.
This feels like 3 men choppin it up. I hope this creates a relationship with the 2 of them and Cory 🙏🏽♥️
I hope so too!
Yes and add to his support system!
Yessssss!!!! Brothers chopping it up in a healthy way with no malicious intentions
They could not trip this man up. He stood on his square an didn't give in to their nosey questions. I love it when someone goes on this platform, knows what they are up to, and moves accordingly.
So much respect for Corey. I love how self-aware, calm, and well-spoken he is.
I love Cory! He’s always been a great person and a stand up dude. You can tell how real & genuine he is. Blessings to him the best is yet to come.
I just watched the movie last night. He did an AMAZING.job
18:33 😂😂😂😂😂😂 great interview he was nervous at first but when he realized he was safe he took those glasses off ❤❤❤
I still think of Brotherly Love every time I see him
Same
He did a really good job in that
Right. I love that movie
Man I’m still pissed about that In a good way lol
He played that role soo well! He can act.
Cory is amazing very genuine! I’m so glad Meg put him on I’m
glad he’s now open to more rolls because of
It!!! He deserves it and is more then QUALIFIED!!! BRAVO CORY!!!
I can see why Tia was with him, he's a REAL BLACK MAN!! Love and appreciate him after this interview. He is a great actor. I hope his career skyrockets after this.
Oh Tia!! He’s so likable but maybe he needed to hit rock bottom to bloom--hope they get back together
Good to see this dude coming up after the divorce
Wouldn't be shocked if he starts getting more success again in film roles and Tia wants to work "things out" that's how it be with a lot of women
He was already getting more worth than Tia. He was all american right before this.@@andremotivation6561
Big Factz💯
@@andremotivation6561 trust me she would not!!! Tia is very successful, always has been!! And she is even more successful now than ever. 😂😂😂😂. Why would she get back with Corey? Stop 😂😂😂😂
@@andremotivation6561why she had her own. She was always the breadwinner. Like what
I appreciate Cory's perspective on being a parent first and a friend second, and the importance of providing children with balance. He comes across as a positive and grounded person and parent. Keep up the great work, Cory! ☮️😇
He is such a humble soul. All the best to him. May he continue to shine.
This was an amazing interview! Wow Cory, salute to you my brother. Hunny child Cory is a different caliber of man. Can't wait to see the film
Corey is a good actor. He did so good in that movie. He is so underrated and unproblematic.
Movie was awful.
Daddy first, friend last!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!
That needs to be on billboards and in households across the world, relative to both parents!🙏🏾
His career is about to take off
I pray so!!! Looking forward to more of his amazing work
Agree
Absolutely 💯 ❤
Everyone has their seasons. May God bless him with many mores. God never fails.
Great interview! My husband and I have always loved Cory. He's an amazing actor. We can't wait to see him in his next major role. Praying that God continues to bless him and his family. 🥰🙏🏽
Cory, I don’t know you personally, but my friends and I have always rooted for you and we will continue to do so. We’re so happy to see you shining….its about time! 👏🏽👏🏽
Corey, great interview! He’s very down to earth & I love how he did not talk bad about his ex wife!❤ Real man ish !!
I’m glad he said he’s focused on himself and kids. “Some” men just jump from relationship to another one. Proud of him. Great actor. Best wishes ❤
The end was so funny! “I know Morris. Morris stop lying.” 😂
This interview was cute and refreshing just like three friends sitting in the backyard, talking trash and positivity with each other. I loved it and I would love to see more interviews like this breakfast club.
This man right here!!! I am so grateful he is right where his gifts and talents are taking him. As he speaks about parenting and covering his children’s mother is needed and so commendable. 🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾
This was a pure calm interview, a sense of honesty! Loved
I enjoyed this interview ,it just feels good black men uplifting each other. He clearly is still hurting,i feel this interview was so relaxing for him
So true
I didn’t know how to word it but yes this is exactly what I felt 🥲🙏🏼
The thing that i hated about their divorce being so public is that people automatically made him out to be some kind of bum who was being taken care of by Tia. This dude has been working long before they met. He sounds like a stand-up guy. This is why you can't listen to what you see and hear on social media.
👏🏼👏🏼💯
He was being taken care of by Tia. Hence the divorce
@@spr6986 You're the people who I'm talking about. You believe everything you hear on social media.
First time I've heard this brother speak and open up about himself. Pray 🙏🏿 nothing but the best going forward and I can't wait to watch this latest movie.
Cory is a gentleman and very respectful! Many blessings to him and much success. 🙏😍❤❤❤❤
I’ve always felt Cory Hardrict was a strong actor. And here’s a note to EVERYONE, being an actor is a grind. It’s a craft. Stop thinking this industry is easy because it’s not. It is difficult, arduous, rewarding journey. And I’m so happy he’s getting his flowers and the respect he deserves. He seems like a grounded man and very present father. Many more blessings to him! 🙏🏾
He also seems like he has morals. It’s difficult to “make it” when you have morals.
Great interview! Good to see our brother Cory Happy and Healthy
He got more comfortable after he took off the sunglasses. Good interview. I may have to check out this movie.
🤩 Some of his interview had me smiling. 😃🙏🏽 He keeps it real.
Me too which is cool. Theres a part of him that we dont know. I hope that part is healed. I wish positive vibes for all involved.
The best interviews I've seen so far are this one and Rakim. I prefer more down to earth interviews thats humbling, inspiring, and real from the heart.
His character is impeccable. This shows he allows God to lead and guide him. 🙏🏾
Cory did an AMAZING job. Great movie!!
The Dad Conversation part was Golden
Showing a child that they have to work for what they want isn't traumatic It teaches life skills.
Most authentic interview I've watched in a while. He did exceptionally I his role
Cory did an amazing job on the film! Kudos to you brother🖤
Great interview!!! Cory seems so tough and guarded, but at the same time so gentle. He exudes emotion. You just want to give him a hug. There were parts of the interview that literally made me sad, but I am proud of this brotha and glad that he is getting the recognition and acknowledgment he deserves.
So happy for Cory, he is a great actor!
And seems like a really good dude.
WOW‼️ I envision Cory Hardrict accepting awards in the very near future. You killed it in "Divorce In The Black" even though I had to fast-forward or close my eyes 😖🫣 during certain scenes where somebody was being roughed up.😄
Timing is EVERYTHING❗️and I've noticed your talent increase for the last several years. It looks like it is truly your time to elevate. We applaud you, Cory. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
👏🏼 and we thank GOD❣️ for Tyler Perry for creating opportunities for many who desire and deserve them.🙏🏼🙌🏼👏🏼
I appreciate he asks for clarification on the question instead of rambling that’s a sober sharp man right there i like that!!!
