Can't believe how lucky I am to have another player share his knowledge for free, but for it to be a player as amazing as this dude is extra special. I've listened to lots of players in my life and he's as bad ass as they come. Spent a few hours watching you play and enjoyed it a lot. Thanks Kid !

Jump off his jock. Never heard a guitarist ride a phallic symbol like you man, kudos, you a pro

@@billionairebuddha617 not everyone is an ignorant cocksucker afraid to express gratitude and appreciation for someones time, effort, and talent out of a fear of being seen as riding their dick or kissing their ass. In my experience in this world the ones who can't tell the difference between well intended praise that comes from a place of respect and brown-nosing are often of weak character

Very useful and not only for the absent minded (like myself). The option to slide chords as well in standard tuning (which would be a pain with the real slide) comes real handy. Thank you for the insights!

I like using a floating trem (not necessarily a floyd) to get (not quite) slide sounds. And the way you used to record videos reminds me of a scene from Twin Peaks

There;s a guy named Michael Lee Firkins who did that, and he was UNBELIEVABLE. he seems to come from somewhat of a shredder background though, so we sound as different as can be.

Out of all the blues players Hubert is the one I just love, his sound is very special, I like most blues players but Sumlin is my favorite. I have been playing fingerstyle for about 18 months and slide about the same. Do you give lessons? I would be interested if you do.

Kid I’m a slide guitarist from Massachusetts. Very good at what I do… just wondering is there more to this slide without slide than I’m understanding. Usually I’m a fast learner, but this is a stumper for me. I think I may have viewed this video like at least 50 times already. I tried shaking the strings like hell. I tried half an octave down. Are there certain things I should know about string gauge or nuances such as the speed in which the vibrato is played… maybe I’m looking at this from a vibrato perspective and it’s something entirely different… your wisdom would be much appreciated Kid.

Joking aside, it was a while ago, but i proble boost some mids in the eq, and most importantly, i distort it slightly with like a taoe simulator plugin. and add some slapback

Pat
