Verse four harmonization/descant by Sir David Willcocks
1) Ye watchers and ye holy ones,
Bright seraphs, cherubim and thrones,
Raise the glad strain, Alleluia!
Cry out, dominions, princedoms, powers,
Virtues, archangels, angels choirs:
Alleluia (et repetitur)
2) O higher than the cherubim,
More glorious than the seraphim,
Lead their praises, Alleluia!
Thou bearer of theternal Word,
Most gracious, magnify the Lord.
Alleluia (et repetitur)
3) Respond, ye souls in endless rest,
Ye patriarchs and prophets blest,
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Ye holy twelve, ye martyrs strong,
All saints triumphant, raise the song.
Alleluia (et repetitur)
4) O friends, in gladness let us sing,
Supernal anthems echoing,
Alleluia! Alleluia!
To God the Father, God the Son,
And God the Spirit, Three in One.
Alleluia (et repetitur)

Thank you for posting the video, that helps a lot. This could be handy for people like me that we are not real singers and need some hearing guidance as help. Thanks.
That was Nice Mark!
I love this hymn. I forgot the number but we have done it before. I think it has a 12 in the number. 712 maybe
