Just discovered your channel while watching various reviews for the Allan NASB Reader that I’m waiting to arrive. Just wanted to comment and say that I love your content and style brother, you have a new subscriber in me. Hope to see more from you in the future. God bless!
I appreciate that. I just noticed today that I've missed a bunch of comments. Kinda lost the desire to be on here, to be honest. But it might just be a phase.
@@LeaningTowerOfBible yeah. Totally get it. Not every you-tuber is going to make videos forever. Plus wife and kids and work can take priority. Still, I've always enjoyed and looked forward to your videos. Hope you never disappear for good. BTW, I bought that purple premier collection NRSV for my mother-in-law because of your video. When I saw it in person, I had to get one for myself too. I'm also not a huge fan of the translation, but it's so nice. Anyway, prayers from the states for you and the family. Stay safe, be good, God bless.
I’m happy to have a bit extra in the gutter, but I’m not planning to write in this so it isn’t a big deal. A little more framing for the the text is nice, I guess. I’m just happy I haven’t found any printing issues in mine… yet. I know about the error in Job with the missing ‘s’, but I haven’t found any ink smudges in Genesis or Joshua or elsewhere. I half expect that I will at some point, but maybe not.
I get that. I tend to use the NRSV more for reference and comparative study than as a reader, so I appreciate having the additional material. It’s easy enough to ignore it when I’m reading, but like I said, I definitely get what you mean. Thanks for watching.

“He’s back with the sofa crack” 😂😂😂
He is. And he should probably sell some Bibles and buy a new sofa. 😆 Thanks for watching!
Missed you, bro.

I like that there is NO concordance. Don't need them in smaller bibles. Leave those for larger sizes.
I can appreciate that and of course opinions will vary, such as those regarding what constitutes a "small" Bible. 😉 Thank you for watching!
Well if you ever want to sell, let me know. NOT the Zondervan obviously.
The margins of the 2024 edition are about 1/8" larger all the way around. Maybe 1/4".

The Allan NRSV has never had a concordance. The Apocrypha was added in 2019 (not present in 2008 or 2012 editions).
Thanks!
I wish the apocrypha wasn't in it....

I like the Apocrypha - history if not 'inspired' - Can still learn from it, besides part of the Bible for 1800+ years.
