Offering an urban coastal vibe to the downtown district, our Marina is home to the longest running regatta races in the country, boasts waterfront restaurants, and is a major economic generator for tourism and recreation.
Both the Mayor and the Downtown Management Executive Director, Alyssa Barrera Mason, grew up in Corpus Christi and stayed here to improve the community they've always called home. I wasn't born in Corpus, but I grew up there...Corpus will ALWAYS be my home( even if I don't live there at the moment...Central Texas is a TOTAL downer). I love the sparkling city by the sea!

they won't let you busk (play live music for tips) here. This would increase tourism, but the city council doesn't give a rat's fanny about that. hard to tell what they're thinking, but it isn't progress for the city.
Notice that the docks and the yachts have no human activity visible. in these videos. Thats because two bit marina "managers" are busily making the docks, slips and facilities as difficult to navigate as possible with ridiculous rules and disrespectful treatment. RUN AWAY if you own a yacht. If you want to sail out of downtown, join the CC Yacht Club and avoid the city's Mussolini dock managers who think they're more important than you are.
The Corpus Christi Marina is a city managed facility. Which means city employees are more interested in enforcing control over yacht owners and their boats than providing a positive experience for those renting boat slips.Horrible. Deserted docks and little real support for yacht owners.
