Hey Falcon! I originally just looked up StarCraft gameplay to watch in the background as I'd just finished Age of Mythology and StarCraft campaign playlists, and kinda stumbled into your channel. Now I know a lot more about competitive Brood War and I find myself rooting for certain players whose names I didn't know two weeks ago! Thanks for the awesome videos!
Bisu is the my favorite OG player. Lots of players in BW and SC2 that hit the scene were well known for their crazy micro or novel strategies (like Boxer with Bunker Rush, Serral with late game Infestors). Bisu was known for TWO things. He absolutely revolutionized early game scouting. He single handedly turned probes from a B tier unit to S tier. He would embarrass and win entire teams matches with his probes and harassment. His second contribution was the DT/corsair start vs. Zerg. He would completely shut down all Zerg overlords as soon as they hatched, supply blocking Zerg. He’d follow it up further with the Dark Templar. No Zerg besides Jaedong could handle him. Legendary player, i will always watch him. He had, in his later years, run up against a wall in high level PvT. Then again, it was Flash… but he would lose agonizing 35 minute matches on fighting spirit. Thanks for uploading my favorite BW player, Falcon :) ❤
THIS is why Protoss recall into a Terran's main. when its actually successful and you get an army into there, if the Terran does not respond to it, like how Light did here, it's essentially just a win for the Protoss. if the Terran DOES respond to it, it pulls the T off of the offense, leaving your bases alone.

He was doing such a good job stopping the arbiters with EMP, but you aren't going to catch every single arbiter every single time. He desperately needed a few wraiths earlier to kill those arbiters. It looks like Light was just off his game a bit getting caught by those DTs at the start too.

5:37 yeah it seems everyone has a problem with that bug, I wonder if it's something to do with the map? Even watching my own replays at home I've had the same problem.
uhm. Bisu looked completely lost in this one. And actually, I think he was, but there is a bug at 19:20. when he recalls in Light's main, another arbiter is somehow recalled 2. you can clearly see it. few seconds later, he uses that same arbiter for another recall, which brings in even a 3rd arbiter, lol. If he didn't have that 2nd arbiter he could have not destroyed all of Light's production facilities, which instead he did. I don't know how this was possible. I'm quite sure arbiters can't recall each other
Describing how the egg crashes your game if you select it reminds me of that one custom map back in the day called "Do not look at the yellow dot" where if your Marine went to see it or if you looked at it in the minimap the game wold crash. The only people who won are the one's left over after 20 minutes. Other versions of the map didn't even have a victory condition heheh. It was a nice way to socialize though, since you'd want to keep your mind off of the yellow dot. Other times, since everyone just controlled a single Marine it would be a Free-For-All on who kills each other and some people would take advantage of moving their Marine closest to the "yellow dot" too. Ah... Good times...
If I was playing TvP against Bisu, all I could do is let Flash down. Or maybe not because honestly if I did anything other than be crushed, Flash would be disappointed in Bisu, greatly.
every time when in TvP Protoss wipe out Terran main with 5-10 Factories alwayes interesting why T just LET THEM DIE, why not lift and replant them, after losting them he starting to rebuild them any way, and it will spend much less time to fly and replant than rebuild, he just let them die, without even trying to fly and save at least half of them Strange, and more strange that EVERY game, when Terran losing main, they do same thing - just let factories die, not producing anything and not lifting them, like 100% of time
Another thing you'll see is protoss making production buildings in multiple bases while terrans very rarely seem to do that. If all your goodies are in your main then you gotta protect that main..
@@Ziegfried82 Terran at least has a tool to lift them and fly away, but question is why they dont do that, when P recall to main and T start to base race, he can easy spend some of his 300-400 APM and just save them and continue produce, and what he did - he try to REBUILD 2 times, spent a ton of time and just was outproduced even having better mineral bank and income
Or just lift and replant factories and continue producing tanks than just let them dit and spend a lot of time trying rebuild them from zero) Have 300-400 APM and not even trying lift and replant - strange
Yeah the vultures were being used to harass rather than scout. It wasn't a bad play though IMO the real issue was no goliaths or wraiths in the base to murder the arbiters quick.

10:05 it really is the same strat every TvP that I've seen, it really has become "you've seen one TvP match you've seen them all" kind of thing
Early marine + medic timing with stim is viable if you kill the toss fats enough

That was pretty good game, I have never seen a base race from pros before.

Arbiters CAN recall each other. Arbiters cannot cloak arbiters though.

Are these players (Bisu Jadong Flash Light Stork...) in in period 2007-2011? They are still playing this game now?
Yep, some of them are. Bisu's still active, Flash is doing military, Light is still playing, Stork is retired.
