That has been put on ventilation due to have a pneumonia, and the hospital has informed me that she needs a trachea but every time they try to do a trach the secretion is thick, so they stop. Her numbers dropped, and they also informed me that she has to be on dialysis. I guess that's due to the fact that she's been on ventilator for a while. They are telling me that her way of life is going to be hard due to her health issues such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, thyroid, and grave disease. Also, she she is overweight. Do you think that I should stop the ventilator on her. Or do you think I should allow them to try and do another tracha so that she can live with a trachea on ventilation until maybe she can recover?
