YES! Since Reykjavík Grapevine went and ruined everything good they had going for them. Those newscasts were important to sooo many of us. Also my mental health might have hinged on seeing Pólly tippy tap backwards while Valur did his best… anyway, yes I think sometimes important news relevant to tourists is never in English or easy to find.
I didn't even know Grapevine stoped doing news. This is a gap in the market I can exploit. I'm never going to be doing hard hitting pieces with real journalism like Polly, but I'll do my best to fill the gap.
I challenge you to visit the blue lagoon without ruining your hair. I already managed that twice and wasn't even aware of the danger at the first time when I came with a rental car quite spontaneously and enjoyed it very much. The second time, I had booked a time slot and bus from Reykjavik and the bus driver told us to use the hair conditioner provided by the blue lagoon. I enjoy their shower gel every day and my memory leaps back to Iceland which is a daily dose of joy. I agree with the others about wanting more news from you. Especially the weather forecast made me laugh. I like your sense of humour. Thanks, Karl.
Oh, please do keep doing these! I found you by chance last year prior to my first trip to Iceland, going again this year in October so looking forward to any news you are willing to share.
Would love to see more. Now that Reykjavik has fired all their news people, I'm out of touch with what's going on. Where else will I hear about airlines having their plane repossessed or important northern hair disasters? I wonder if the guys who repo'ed the plane had a goPro. I'd like to see that video.
Haha I'd pay to see that. Apparently it happened in Denmark. It's unfortunate. It was probably a good thing for people up north. I hope they bounce back.
Haha I'll do my best. Let's hope there are enough news relevant to travelers weekly. If not, perhaps I'll make some up. That seems to be perfectly acceptable these days.
Love Icelandic News and your special perspective Karl. Keep it up for at least two weeks more as we arrive in Iceland April 18. Thanks to your advice we are well educated tourists ready to see the best and skip the shark meat and Blue Lagoon. Thanks Karl! P.S. Brandi’s a really cute doggo.
Thanks Karl! Your videos have prepared me well. Arriving on Friday. (When the country is closed for Jebuz) Good to know the weather is shit and “fun” will be hard to find on the streets.
Iceland is still beautiful. That's something? Right? And the weather in the north doesn't look too bad this week. And the forecast for the rest of the country is looking better than it did yesterday. Not great, but better. And hopefully most touristy places will be open. It's a big weekend for them. You'll be fine. Have a great trip 😊
@@TimeWarpIceland We have landed in Iceland but the wind is too strong to bring the steps to the plane! First time I’ve experienced turbulence while on the ground. This should make your news! They have no idea how long we are going to be kept captive. Just sitting here waiting for the wind conditions to change.
Yes, do more of these! Ever since the Grapevine stopped doing videos, I don't have a source for entertaining Icelandic news.
That's definitely a gap in the market. I will definitely never become a trusted news source. But a news source none the less 😅
Love the Icelandic News by Time Warp Iceland! Would like MORE!!! Keep up the great work. -Texas-USA Fan
Excellent, thank you. 😁
“It’s terrible news” 😂
Please do more of these; I really enjoy your perspective and presentation!
😅 Thank you.

Welcome back Karl.. you are the best!!!❤
Thank you 😊❤️
This was great! Keep doing more of what's going on in Iceland. Hilarious!
Thank you, I certainly will do my best 😊
This is filling the gap in my Icelandic entertainment since they aren't currently showing anything Icelandic on the BBC in the UK!
I can't promise the same production value but hopefully the entertainment. 😁

Hilarious! Absolutely, keep these videos coming.
I'll see if I can fit another series in this winter. Been a busy few months 😕
Thanks Karl! Your videos have prepared me well.
Arriving on Friday. (When the country is closed for Jebuz)
Good to know the weather is shit and “fun” will be hard to find on the streets.
I'm sure you'll have fun if you find free wifi.
Lol!
I’ll load up on rotting piss shark and binge Time Warp Iceland videos!
Oh Jebus don't do that... At least not the shark thing.
That was great, do more. I will be there later this month.
Have a great trip 😊
Love it! Keep 'em coming!
Thank you 😊
This was great! I have missed the Icelandic humour
AIR ICELAND FROM THE 60'S AND 70'S
Not sure I understand? 😊
So I’m flying to Iceland tomorrow, everything is going to be closed and the weather is going to be terrible? Any good news?

Yea so it took a real turn for the worse in the south west. I'm sorry to hear about you being stuck 😔
Just looking at the news. At least one plane didn't manage to land in Keflavik at all and landed on the other side of the country.
Did you get of the plane?
Jebus 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favorite fictional character from the Simpson by far!
That is hilarious about the woman's hair getting so many clicks. Typical, though.....lol
Tiktok is veird. 🤔
