It’s been a wonderful year watching you find the hidden treasures of the past and watching them being exposed through your diligent air scribing. Thank you for all you do.
I wonder how many digs such as this have been destroyed by , industrial activity in our wilderness?I'm glad this man has this passion for our history, it looks interesting, and rewarding.
Thanks so much for everyone's support in 2021 - it's been quite the year! I can't wait to see what we find and learn in 2022! Hope you're all having a great holiday season. I uploaded a new rockhound video if you're looking for something else to watch: ua-cam.com/video/JZvUdLgGX-s/v-deo.html
I really like that you stop chipping when you do to make a great presentation. I myself would have gone further and probably mucked it up. Kudos for your keen eye and patience. 👌
Absolutely great fossil finds this year. But, by far my favourite was the finding and prep of the shark tooth. It was amazing how it just slid out of its surrounding rock with such ease. All the best for 2022.
Dude…. Seriously wow! I’m loving the recap of the finds from this year brother. The ones where you found the other missing pieces is nuts! But holy what!?… you found a plesiosaurus vertebrae!? Dude how much did your inner kid go nuts when finding that!!!!!! Still watching but had to comment when I saw that. It’s crazy rad!!!
Okay just finished and dude the mega crab! What a monster but also what a specimen! I like how you said, “I was worried I didn’t have enough fossils for a top 10” haha! Dude I had the same thought about my recap vid this year. It’s been hard with restrictions but looking back, I was even more stoked than I thought I would be. Happy new year mate. I don’t get to watch as much videos as I’d like but I love seeing what you’ve accomplished, and have yet to. Love your work man. Just always love your work 👊 here’s to 2022!!!! Kia Ora brother!
Thanks for sharing all of your finds with us, it’s amazing to see you being able to assemble a fossil that’s normal people would never even look at twice! Have a happy new year!
Superb range of finds for 2021 - can't wait to see what you get in 2022. Your prep work is beautiful & your knowledge of what is in a rock with hardly anything showing is incredible. Keep it up!
You always seem to get some awesome fossils, I don’t always comment as I know sweet bugger all about fossils but I do enjoy watching you bring those fossils out of their encasements. I hope you had an enjoyable Christmas & New Year & Wishing you a great 2022. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin.
I remember every one of those great videos. Thanks to your dedication & hard work you had a wonderful year of fossil finds & we got to watch it all. Thank you so much. Happy New Year! 🍺🎉🎆 May 2022 be even better in every way for you & yours! 👍❤️
Wow those were amazing. I like the tooth, but i like Crabzilla the best. What a monster!. Thank you for taking time out of your life and sharing the terriffic finds with us. Be happy, safe and stay healthy!
I would say that you had a great year of Fossil hunting, preparing them, the excitement of the find! Besides sharing your finds with academic pros in identifying them , possibly expanding the knowledge of the paleontology/geological past. Great year! Best to you and Family, all your Viewers too. Have an excellent upcoming New Year!! 🥳💥💫🌟🎉

Happy New Year brother! I was so proud when you found the shark tooth, I know you've wanted to for so long. And finding out it's possibly a ground breaking find topped it off. It's all amazing to me though, congrats on a phenomenal year. May this next be doubly rewarding. 🤝👍
Thanks for all your videos. Keep up the great content. I’m taking the kids fossil hunting tomorrow up the Awatere river. I hope we have even a fraction of the success you have.
I was so excited and jealous watching you. I'd love to know what they are when I see the exterior. I think I've only found one or two fossils in my life, and I'm sure I've never noticed most of them. Thanks for the good excitement.
I've enjoyed every video! Thank you for posting such great content! We love it. I can't wait to see the prep video on the last large crab that you had to glue back, together. It already looked incredible.
I learned that Michaelangelo would go into the marble quarry and find his master piece in the marble. He stated that he freed the image that was within the marble. This reminds me of his description of how he worked. Makes his work seem even more devine.
You are a great educator with these videos! (And seem like a sweet guy, as well!) I was going to ask you about your tools. I have a Dremel that I like but I would imagine you go through bits quickly on these rock specimen. Are there any brands of drill bits you recommend?
Wow, this is from a year ago. I love watching you uncover fossils!! Its truly AMAZING!! I want to run right out there and find 1 or some and do what u r doing!! Ty for sharing, I've learned a lot from your videos. I never expected a big rock to actually be a big fofossil!! You inspire me. Thank you for that!! P.S. Would you sell that sharks tooth to me by chance?? I would LOVE it!! 🐳🦕🐋🐬 Lily 🌷🌷🌷

You have had an epic year a raise of the glass to an even more epic one next year. I don't know if you remember me but the large bone fossil that I found and recovered from the North Saskatchewan River last year unfortunately crumbled over the summer even though it was stored under a carport. I have saved as many of the fragments that I could but it probably has no value for the museum now. The good news is that the Royal Tyrell museum is interested in seeing some of the other fossils I that I have collected. I haven't set up a meeting with them yet and having a good relationship with them is definitely on my bucket list. Good things to look forward to in the new year.
Brilliant stuff! Is the carapace and bone hard enough to survive the precision tool you use to clean away the rock? Or do you have to be careful when cleaning the rock, so as to not apply too much pressure when going over the organic parts?
We thank you for sharing, and hope you have a happy New Year, and safe 2022 . (And find that flaming penguin 😁) all the best from Kalgoorlie, Australi👍🇦🇺

You would love going hunting Shark Teeth in the small streams of Florida. Even find Mastodon teeth as things erode from the sediment of the Shallow Sea that was there long ago. Totally different search than you do. Sometimes you have to have wetsuit, or leave the area because of alligators.. I watch Wildkyle & Paleochirs & love their finds because they Explain them as you do yours.. Thanks for making your videos..

@@AA-69 they are tungsten carbide tips but not on a dremel, on an air scribe.
