Colin you have great taste in board and card games (because it's close to mine haha). I am yet to watch the video, but I am pleasantly surprised with yet another game that I like and kinda own. I have the video-game version in Steam (with all the expansions). Never watched the tv show. I am considering buying the books, there is a big bundle with all 17 (seventeen) of them but I am waiting Black Friday haha.
Great blast(-ing rod) from the past. I love this game, I play it a lot in the app . I hope that next time you use Murphy because she’s my favorite character. The Mouse/ Molly pair is hard, but it means more Fuego to everyone. 🔥
What?!?! I've had this on my shelf for 5 years I need to play this. I bought it for IP reasons. Hope it's good will watch your playthrough later today!!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable I did, and no it isn't! Just that I would have to ship it to Finland... That could easily double the price, but I'll get it someday!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable There were two in a single "Expansion Pack 6" that was added to the digital game. The physical expansions reached as far as Skin Game, and the digital expansion added Peace Talks and Battle Ground. (The new characters were Sir Waldo and River Shoulders.) They've indicated that they *might* go a POD route to make them available physically, but no word on when or even really if that will happen.
I dont know this universe but it reminds me of "The Librarians: Adventure Card Game". This seems to be very puzzly to me but that showdown phase is interesting + it has nice art I can immagine some Buffy clone being made in same manner.
Well, it has been a long time indeed... (2017, really?? It feels like just the day before yesterday.) Are you playing Dungeon Alliance next? :) Andrew mentioned he was going to launch the new expansion (Paragon, I think?) for it "in Octoberish". Let Bairnt know if you say no? :9
I backed this too. A fun game, but it didn't seem to appeal to those who hadn't read the books. And as you say, having to discard your card on your turn is a bit of a buzz-kill in multi-player
Looks like quick set up and take down as well which is always a plus!! Thanks Colin
Oh yeah maybe 5 minutes tops! Thanks for watching!!
I absolutely love the Dresden Files.
Yes!! I now want to re read them!!

Never played this one but always enjoy watching a playthrough. Thanks, Colin! :-)
Markus!! I thought you did play this one! So great to hear from you my friend hope you are well!!
I've had a great time with this. Like you, I've played through all the expansions. Fast, fun, tough at times.
That is awesome! Did you read the books? I do love how quick it plays such a fun little puzzle
@@MeetMeAtTheTable I did. That just adds to the fun as you remember the characters from the books.
@kevinerskine3299 exactly!

It's good man!! Maybe not great but still good and just a fun puzzle!! Pull that off the shelf to play!
@MeetMeAtTheTable I'll make a point to, I have all the content. By the end of October...
@drhandellige6910 so it and tell me how it goes!!
Love this game and the books, surprised I don’t see it around more.
I'm with you on both accounts! It works great as a solo game and the books are a lot of fun!!
Love the books but didn't know about a game!
@TheLazyFinn is not expensive check it out!!

Oh crap didn't think of that sorry!!
I also backed this game Colin. But sad to say I’ve still never played it. Backed it purely because it’s Dresden files.
Get it off your shelf and play it!! So good!!
Here's hoping the new books they released digitally will get a physical release, even if through something like print on demand.
That would be so cool right? How many additional books did they do, do you know?

I love the Dresden series. I wish he would get around to writing more than 1 book a decade though.
I kinda want to start re reading them! Did you play the game at all?

Exactly but it's a solid solo game. Wonder if it would do better now in a solo centric board gaming community!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Nah, I think it still needs the thematic boost that you get from having read the books. It's a bit of a flat puzzle without that
