I have had a love/hate relationship with the Dead Man's Tale Exotic Scout Rifle, for pretty much the entirety of it's existence. For the longest time, I have hated the weapon, especially when I am forced to use it Copycat Cards... but I think that may have just changed. Enjoy!

Things like glaives, final warning and telesto are so cool and should be used more but they take too much skill for most of the destiny player base (telesto not as much but is just ignored), *cough* *cough* prismatic hunters

I find it humorous that the skill ceiling for glaives is simply to be generally precise, aim before you engage a target, and recognize the health of your opponent(s). I guess there’s the sprinkling of range and projectile velocity and lunge distance and counter-weapons and… probably other things.
But generally, a lot of those are shared with most if not all other weapons.
Double/Triple Glaive card? 😮🤣
@@The_Laser_Kittens it’s often the play style with these weapons along with aim, final waning for example needs you to be always ready to switch between going for precision if someone comes around the corner or hipfire if they decide not to push but you also have to move differently to not get shotgunned and to peak then hide and move your screen to make sure the highest amount of bullets land as you can
@@taylormorgan3669 indeed. Movement and positioning are key. It does feel nice to be able to ego challenge in a 1v2 when you know you can soak up enough damage to take them on 😂 … although that requires enough ammo and either already having energy or being able to land the first shot… and already knowing the enemy will be using primaries lol
the dead mans quest is actually fast when you know what youre doing. I was grinding those for red boarders and i was going really quick. once you know its no more than a 10-15 minute run each time
I had to rewatch your missed snipe at 7:34 in slow motion because it looked right on but damn, its just barely off. It looked solid in real time though.
Jake, you don’t need to do presage to level up dmt, all running presage does is unlock higher levels of cranial spike. The rest of the perks you just need to up the level of the gun by using it or purchasing levels on it
@@Docs4lty I believe he is referring to the extra perks, which he doesn't have any of them because he did it 1 time before (to my knowledge)

I know you play on controller but I was still hoping you would do a commentary on sniping. I love the crisp sound of landing one and it just feels amazing to land on a fast paced game.

I finally got one of my god rolls for pvp for relativism spirit of ophidian and spirit of cyrtarachne so I can still have fun shotgun grappling or just for a boost to handling for all my guns plus woven mail from just using a grenade it's fun

So I have a controller question while I'm running forward and I jump my character takes a hard right or left even though I didn't move my stick what would I use in the settings to make that stop
It's stick drift...it's the bottom two options when you go to controller settings in Destiny. If you can't find it respond and I'll look up exactly what it is called once servers are back up. They move in increments of .01, so move them both up .01 at a time then touch your stick but don't move it...if it starts moving keep taking up in increments of .01 at a time until it is fixed.
@@jdotmay I found it but my issue with it being stick drift is that the only time it happens is when I'm running I can literally set my controller down and it wont do it.

Watched live - was less Red Death than I expected.
Probably because red death + catalyst is better for comp or 6s. By the time you get 2 kills, you probably don’t need the restoration x2 for the third guy

I really don't understand how Bungie hasn't done anything about hunters for a year now. Their lack of caring about balance in PVP is just pitiful.
@@db1872 Hunters weren't outrageously broken until FS dropped, before it was Bubble Titans, Welllocks, Anteus Titans, PK Immortal Titans and the rest. Hunters were quite average and not insanely OP

Swarm Grenade scorches till you get one tapped
Smoke grenades make you cant see, move and then your getting beamed by Khvostov
Then the worst, they dodge which slows you, and then a green mannequin appears pulling your aim assist, and then blows up in your face killing you
@@devinhalliburton304 the dodge is stronger with Coyotes, combined with the Snare and Swarm, Hunters are deserving of a nerf
They have acknowledged the Spectres and Swarm which is good

I mean he’s like “wow DMT” and “Wow Elsie’s” while merely hitting crits. Except he always hits his crits, even with guns he doesn’t like. His shot is perfect. I personally need time with a gun before I can decide if I like it, even if I hit my shots with it. I hate Khvostov, and it’s easy to use. Elsie’s sucks on controller and DMT is worse on roller than MnK. He’s all about click bait

The title is towards clickbait because that is how engagement thrives
Also he stated how he doesn't use DMT now and how he didn't like Elsie's on several occasions and he finally tried them out on a map where they benefitted. He managed to hit shots and secure kills which is why he said stuff like how he was "wrong about DMT" or how good Elsie's is.
Besides, you make it seem like he is saying it is the best for that input when in actuality, he is saying they hit hard and clearly seem decent enough to use
