I don’t like this set up for sports facility. He’s alienating academy players that are currently with the team and when they want to recruit top talents this can be a bad think and might put off players to go to other top academies as they would offer to train with first team or use same facilities.

football and sport in general grew so much with social media especially in revenues. people all over the world can now admire teams from the other side of the globe. it's normal now to see people travelling across continents to see live games (increasing tourism, so not only sport but economic in general). teams now have more visibility, they sell merch, stadium tickets etc. and this result in more audience which means more money for brands such nike, adidas that now are living part of sports providing funds for teams and sponsorships for players and athletes especially those who brings a lot of new customers (cristiano ronaldo, messi, neymar, lebron, curry etc..) and so increasing their sales. it's a domino effect started by a small growth of social media to a big a result of a massive traffic of money. nowadays clubs are richer, players cost more and sports play huge part in a country economy and this is only the tip of the iceberg of how social media affected sport and entertainment. the power of money
and what about the women's team? they're joint bottom of the table on points and still have to play on that horrible tranmere ground. will they benefit from any of this investment or continue to be neglected?
