i got them back in late 2018, same pair of boost are still great even after 6 yrs of use at gym, weekend outdoor runs and specifically dozens of machine wash. best shoe ever made
I was really surprised how much I like the Adidas 1.0. The 1.0 are my go to for just chilling. Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
Truly I get it. The ultra boost have really grown on me and may be my favorite shoe for just kicking around. They’re also not bad for running. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
I wear ultra boost since 7 years. Even for winter i just buy a gore tex version. After the DNA 5.0 ultraboost were not very nice for me. So its nice that i can buy the 1.0 again
@@ecchi12 that’s a nice lifestyle combination that I can’t argue with. It’s like a basic polo shirt. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
Great question🤔 Ya know I think they’d perform just fine. That flexibility and boost foam will go a long way but the ultra boost wouldn’t be my first choice. I’d go for a thicker shoe sole for a Disney day. I like the ON Cloud Surfers, Cloudmonsters, and Hoka Bondi. Also the Adidas Ultra Boost 5x would be worth trying but they’re more similar to the other shoes I mentioned than the Ulta Boost 1.0. Haven’t really tested the Asics Nimbus but they’re on my list! Big thanks for checking out the video and asking!
I’ve religiously worn the 1.0s since the year they came out. At the time I was a cross country runner in high school. They’re one of the only pairs of shoes I’ve found that doesn’t give shin splints and feels comfortable all the time. I wear them every single day, so they get heavy use. The soles start to break down around 10-12 months so keep that in mind, but they’ll be very comfortable and keep your feet from hurting so I think they’re worth it.
I found them for 125 euros I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on them they seem very comfortable for everyday walking and the light run to catch the bus
What’s up sir! Huge huge thanks for checking out the video and taking time to comment. As always, much appreciated. Hope you and your family are doing well!
Hey, great video! production quality was so good I didnt notice you had 5k subs, I thought you had way more. with this production quality you definetily deserve more! I have been thinking recently of getting ultraboosts and this video helped me make my decision. thanks!
Huge thanks for this comment and form checking out the video. Every now and then I get a comment that makes my day, today it’s this comment. I enjoy the Adidas ultra boost and they’re some of my favorite shoes to wear just kicking around. They’re not bad for running and being active but I really like them for casual wear.
My 3 adidas ultraboost 1 are so comfy - especially the prime knit upper because of my wide feet. After over 5 years and over 500 miles for each, and the cushion depleted significantly so, I don’t run on them anymore. Still comfy for every walking tho.
Huge thanks for checking out the video and commenting! I agree the Ultra Boost are pretty comfy. I don’t mind running in them but I like them best for just wearing about. Hope my Ulta Boost last half as long as yours.👍🏾
Huge thanks for checking out the video and asking! First I have to note that I don’t own a pair of the Ultraboost 5X but I have tried a pair in store. They’re both great shoes but for lifestyle I think 1.0. The 5X has a thicker sole and more cushion but less flexibility. The 5X is more similar to shoes I have from other brands and as a result lacks the pliability that I really like from the 1.0. I hope this helps!
Does the ocean plastic affect their comfort? I remember a couple of years ago, when I tried on the 4.0 model, it felt really stiff and not as spongy as it used to be. Are the new ones spongy, with a bouncy feel, or are they still kind of stiff?
I think you’ll find that the Ultra Boost 1.0 are back to what you remember. I think 1.0 are like a classic model that’s always around. I haven’t tried the 4.0 to compare but I really enjoy the 1.0, they’re both soft and flexible. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!

@@MarkJones-w9d Ya know for this shoe that’s a tough question 🤔. For me I wear a size 11 regularly and with the ultra boost. Im going to lean toward “yes” but because of the tight grip of the upper I could see some feeling differently about the fit. Big thanks for checking out the video and asking!

Is it a good choice to use it on a Disney trip with 20 000 steps per day approximately? Would you choose it over a Asics nimbus 26?

Do they fit small/big or true to size??
