Hi I am planning to buy a ev scooter but confused between vida v1 pro and ather 450x HR..vida is around 1.5 right now in Bangalore which is around 30000 cheaper than ather..range of both are more or less same..i am looking for a long lasting reliable ev scooter which will give less trouble n less range anxiety..plz suggest..
What about the limp home issue and alloy wheel quality issue? I am willing to buy it but yesterdayi saw one news one guy died on kerela bcoz of alloy broken
iQube S shutdowns completely (blackouts) whenever riding near All India Radio Station and won’t start unless you push the scooter few 100m away from that location. The Scooter has some issues and the company is not transparent why it’s happening and still selling it to customers with the issues, still they haven’t done anything to resolve. Literally we are paying for their R&D.

Eco mode in the ola S1 pro is totally useless , it should be discontinued period. Heating issue in the ola S1 pro is due to the MCU , so i fix it by using super glue and a heat sink and glue it to the expose aluminum in the MCU, this helps a lot ... here in the hilly state of Meghalaya, i get about 90 km in a full charge, coz the remaining 15%[ eco mode] is totally useless in my ola s1 pro and i never use it.
Anyway, i complain to customer care in ola and an engineer came AND change the MCU, and to my surprise, this new MCU doesn't overheats anymore and the range too increased a bit and the Regenerative too is better now with this new MCU...

I never saw this kind of heating issue with iqbue. Can u pls do a similar test using iqube?? Make it run on full speed for a stretch of 25+ kms and see if iqube also overheats.. pls do this.. thanks.

Price is too high , and getting only 100 km per charge in eco , not worth for that much of price. Idc range is 165 atleast 130 to 140 acceptable but it is giving 95 to 100

Recent owner of bgauss d15. A lot less stress on motor and battery when going for less pickup vs high pickup. If customer were to be educated on how ev works, it would go a long way in longevity of motor and battery.
Btw I have also seen firemen trying to put off fire cause by ev with water. It would help if @pradeep would make video on it.
Very good performance by this electric scooter. We can enjoy high acceleration in sport mode as well as best for ideal use in eco made

Hey Pradeep. Why don’t you do this test with ather once. At full throttle. Never seen you do it. Or have you?
In my ather 450 gen 1 I did a video once with temperature also shown because I accessed the developer settings on the ather.
No developer mode acess for gen 2, gen 3
Only way maybe to acess it through obd port if the bike has one that is. Given the price of the scooter nobody would be willing to experiment.

Hi, here is my Genuine good and dark side of Vida v1 pro.
I have been using this Vida v1 pro for the last 5 months.
Pros:
1. Sustained range (Eco mode -105 km, Ride mode - 75 km, Sports mode - 65 km)
2. Good pickup (ride and sports mode)
3. Better handling compared to some other electric scooters
4. Removal Battery's
## Disadvantages ## :
1. No fast charging stations
2. Quality of switches and Bose is very poor.
3. Takes up to 8 hours to fully charge (home charger)
4. Malfunctioning Scooty suddenly goes to LIMP HOME and stops running. (I recorded all this issues on my phone)
5. The seat is not designed to close properly with the boot, so every time you go on bad roads, it makes a dug dug dug... noise, which is very annoying for the rider next to you and other passengers.
6. Braking system is not up to the mark.
7. You can't see live maps, call logs or messages on your screen.
8. Vida v1 pro app has many bug fixes.
9. If you create new ride mods, it will cause the Scooty and app software to malfunction.
10. Sometimes scooty won't detect both batteries.
11. Coming to the service center, this is the most annoying and worst part of HERO company. I kept my bike in the service center for about 30 days out of 60 days from the date of purchase.
(1st time 7 days - limp home, headlight switch problems)
(2nd time 8 days - 1st service, suspension issue not resolved by HERO service center)
(3rd time 8 days - software malfunction, LIMP home and rear suspension sound issue not resolved till now)
(4th time, 4 days and still at service station - Suspension and boot sound issue)
Conclusion : This vida v1 pro is not worth the price. 1,45,000 (EX showroom price)
And they should focus on the quality level of switches, braking system, software malfunction, app bugs issues, LIMP HOME mode issues, Boot sound issue. They should train their mechanics well (some mechanics are discussing that they only took 1 week of normal training to service vida v1 pro, this is enough for them. clearly indicates a lack of understanding of pro's in finding and solving problems). I recommend it if it comes in Price 1,20,000 on the road or go with other electric bikes.
u pay 1.7lakhs just to travel 50kms at highway speed.... damnn

Hey pradeep, I've seen you in Vida Experience centre on the day of launch, Do reviews genuinely, Eco mode top speed is 55 in display, If you over throttle it switches to sport mode, I own the scooter from 2 months, I've ridden 4046kms, I travel from hosur to Whitefield (To an fro) weekly 6days, I don't have any issues as on date, If you want I'll give my scooter for 2 hours any weekend days you want, you try and prove me wrong, I've never seen motor heating issues, I ride in ride and sport mode only 80kms easily i can achieve,

What vida has done is it has limited acceleration post 65kmph to manage heat. Ather also does this to an extent. Ola doesn't limit performance post 65kmph so motor may heatup if accelerating really fast after 30 to 40 kms.

Hey pradeep, big fan of you bro. I have one issue with my ather. Bluetooth is not working, once its getting connected after some time it is automatically getting disconnected please kindly escalate it to ather company ( as you are a part of that company 😊)

i have done a 25 km long race with my friend me with ather and he in ola s1 pro after 60 he overtook and vanished,after 20 mins i passed him and reached the checkpoint and waited for half an hour and more for him ,😹 because after 20 mins of run in top speed ola switched to ecco mode and cant switch mods ,ather sticked to 90-91 on dial throughout.. not only higher speed is needed but stability and ability to keep it is the most important thing can you do a video testing this with vida ,ather ,ather ola

With this performance they could have priced this around 1.5lakh. 1.7 lakhs means almost everyone will think of ather as it is the eldest kid in the market. Major drawback of ather is rear mudguard and open belt system.
It's 1.7 only in Bangalore, other places prices are very less because of subsidy

I bought at 1.2 lakh on road from Amazon at big billion day. Very good performance , build quality and suspension. But range 105 km at eco mode, that's ok

All the best brother. I bet you.. you won't get above 100 above with a single riding in Eco mide. 105 km even 100 to zero in eco mode with a single ride is not possible. In display you can see 110km in eco mode. Practically not possible. Moreover the full battery in eco mode with a pillon ride is only 82km. Please check and comment.
@@shankar837640 yes shows 110 but I always ride in eco mode in Kolkata. It is sufficient 45 km speed for this city. Torque ok. But I checked after riding 50 km around 70 -72 km remains. Actually it happens.

Battery degradation on a Single ride?
Then I really don't like Hero VIDA , because all the other EV including Chinese have battery degradation after 5-10 years.You only says battery degradation test.what you mean by this,is this your fault or from hero vida.

Other OEMs laughing from corner. They've updated the Real world range as 95km in their website. Earlier they said 165 km IDC range. Sales graph it's says there is no buzz in EV market for Vida V1. #Ather#Iqube#Ola
I have not seen any sales graph so far. Can't find any. And there are more things to compare besides range.
Pradeep got 121 kms on vida. He got 111.5 in Ather 450x. Real world.
Hey pradeep saw your Ola's video, in that you did range test where, the battery percentage went from 50 km something to 0 directly, and at normal mode at 80 kmph doesn't heat, hope you check with the newer version of S1 pro and get a video on it with the suspension changes , and a comparison with any scooter 😅
And if the heating issues appear it comes as reduced performance not out of battery, pls don't spread false information,
I have driven Vida V1 pro around 5000 KM... following issues are coming in this scooty :
1. 'Limp Home' (Scooty chalte-2 apne aap stop ho jati hai...aap road ke bich me if 70-80 ki speed pe cruise kar rahe ho to screen pr 'limp home' likha aayega aur scooty ki power zero show karegi which is very dangerous jisse major accident ho sakta hai) service center ke pass (Kirti Nagar, Delhi) ke pass iska koi solution nhi..ye issue meri scooty me 10-12 times aa chuka still they have no solution of it, just they drive and software update kr dete hai. This is the most dangerous issue in Vida.
2. 60-70 ki speed pe 'Motor Temperature is High' ka msg aa rha hai.
3. Mobile charger connect show kr karta hai but charging nhi ho rahi.
4. Cruise button press karne ke bad niche set ka button kaam nhi kr rha.
5. 25-01-2023 ko scooty li thi abhi tak dealer ne subsidy ke liye apply nhi kia puchne pe reason bata rahe hai govt. ki side se issue hai.
Plus point :
1. Scooty ki handling abhi tak market me available sabhi EV's se far better hai.
2. Built quality and storage bahut acha hai.

Nhi after the software update, Limp Home Issue ki problem kam hui aur jo aa jati hai wo throttle me problem aane ki wajah se hoti hai jisse Service Center wale replace kar rahe hai.
Small battery jisse scooty start hoti hai uski life 12000 KM approx hai after need to replace. Baaki vida sahi chal rahi hai. Driven 13500 KM so far.

I pre booked this Vida plus , I did test ride and was decent but doesn’t have wow factor , confused to cancel this and go for Ather . @pradeep kind advice . Don’t want to waste money investing on wrong product (EV) . If it was ICE it was still ok to rectify issue but electrics one doesn’t have any option just live with it
