Mudvayne - "Severed" + "Death Blooms" + "Under My Skin" Live at Upheaval Festival 2022

- This past weekend I had the opportunity to work some of the biggest festivals in the US with the guys in Theory of A Deadman. I also got to see some other amazing bands during my time at the festivals, one of those being Mudvayne, who recently reunited and are embarking on their first full length tour with Rob Zombie, Static-X and Powerman 5000 in just a few days.
While I won't be able to attend one of those shows due to being on tour, I was fortunate enough to catch Mudvayne over the weekend for what will probably be my only time to see them in 2022.
I was able to record 25 minutes worth of footage from the photo pit. This is the first of 3 videos including the opening songs "Dig" and "Internal Primates Forever". Two nostalgic fan-favorite songs for the OG Mudvayne fans.
Please excuse the audio issues as I was extremely close to the stage and the subs were completely blowing out the audio. I felt that the footage was too good not to use, even after considering the audio issue.

Chad is such a cool dude. I met him back when they were touring ld50. He was unloading their equipment, and he stopped to sign a autograph, and chop it up for a couple minutes. I bummed him a cig too haha. Awesome memory

I was like 14 when LD50 came out and I played that album countless times. Seeing this definitely makes my heart happy although I’ve moved into more extreme territory sonically. Would go see them perform those songs any day

Superb and historic footage, bro. Severed was played only 2 times before, with only one footage (from DVD). Even though Chad was a bit off pitch, again, great. Probably he would do better as further as the tour goes, like he did last year!
Didn’t realize it was that rare of a performance. I never saw them on the L.D. 50 album cycle. First time was on their second album but I wouldn’t have remembered the setlists either way. Thanks for the info!
Awesome to see them playing again. Was just laughing a bit by the end thinking to myself "Chad don't crowd-surf, you've been letting yourself go. Someone's gonna get crushed". A bit rusty on the breath-control, but apart from that still decent and great energy for being 50 years old.

Mudvayne rocks. Mudvayne fans are the best and we absolutely adore the band and its charismatic lead vocalist. So great seeing them resurrected. Fell in love in 2003. Never looked back.

You did a great job recording a moment in musical history mate. When i saw them in atlanta, they were the #1 on the freaks of parade tour. We actually got these and one RARE pre-Ryan Mudvayne song. They sounded GREAT. I wasn't front i was RIGHT behind the pit.

Chad hitting that note is wild, I can't hit that note anymore and I literally got a job in one of the bands I was in during high school by covering this song with them. I played bass and sang the clean vocals on the "chorus" and it was extremely fucking hard to do
I just seen them in Iowa on Saturday and he said they were going to play a song they had only played a couple times before and I started saying "please be Severed, please be Severed" and when I heard that first note I literally teared up and actually lost it during that song. That song has a special place and is one of my top 5 favorites from any band period. So fucking incredible to see them back again aying all the old shit, most of LD 50, played -1 right before and that's when I knew it was on, and he sounded pretty fucking good overall, the passion and pain was there in his voice again and you see the work he's put in to get the old sound back

Just seen them last night boston Massachusetts the whole band sounded great.all 4 bands were incredible chad poured his heart out left it all on that fuckn stage.
