Neeson is the modern Charles Bronson, playing the same characters in self-revenge movies. And these movies are not total crap, they are decent. Good for a 90 minute break with a snack. Nothing wrong with it, no one is hurt, Neeson should do these movies as long as they come to his desk. Why skip the paycheck?
At least this movie seems to be set in a part of America where Liam Neeson's accent makes contextual sense.
Definitely, if he's gonna use his accent best have it in Boston.
Was looking forward to this when I read the description as being ‘Mark Kermode reviewed by Honest Thief’. Very disappointed when it turned out to be the other way around.
It's a fun film. Sometimes all you want is a bit of escapism.
Maybe your life is the problem...

Liam Neeson has his own cinematic universe at this point... he’s played the same character over and over again.
Geez. The whole premise of this film was absurd. If Tom ( who became a bank robber for no real reason it seems) felt guilty about his life of crime all he had to do was give his stolen money away to a few charitable causes via anonymous donations. He didn’t have to turn himself in, he didn’t have to go to prison. That was just one tiny thing in a film filled with so many plot holes and bad choices you could sail the Titanic straight through it. Save your money and give this one a miss.
Maybe he didn't want the police chasing him forever.
He’d still have it on his conscience. To come clean and start a fresh honest life he had to turn himself in, it’s just the way he chose to do it was totally ridiculous and the double crossing that followed completely unbelievable and irrational.
The acting in this movie was horrible . And just a overall bad story . Almost fell asleep during it
I thought about that too. I agree he should've donated to a good cause.
Is there a scene on the phone, I chuckle.
Liam Neeson, In & Out Bandit
and he's not happy about that lol
It's much better than the two Taken sequels, I thought the cast all did a good job and it had a good plodding storyline. Not perfect admittedly but well worth a watch I thought.
Liam Neeson playing Liam Neeson
I concur! I gave up on a lot of standard media streams such as the violent, action or revenge plots, and programming that's over-commercialized, and mainstream.
Jealousy is a cruel mistress
A main character who robs banks,. but keeps all the money stored in boxes,. really.
Sounds great to me!
He wasn't motivated by money. He didn't rob for money
after seeing the intro that mark makes about liam neilson ..always reminds me of those great comedy sketchs by stephen colbert where he plays father christmas and cupid but retains that hardman typecast they want in so many films :P [ua-cam.com/video/VqG621-drmk/v-deo.html]
I like liam neeson movies, but this movie was way too stupid to try to enjoy
Where can u watch it
I am so disappointed in this movie. Liam don’t do these stupid movies anymore. You don’t need the cash so be choosy and pick a good script.
Watching now and thought I’d check out the Kermode review. I knew he’d hate it. As do I. It’s shite
This was a bad movie, period.
