I've got a 2000 alh beetle stock tune stock turbo. .216 nozzles cat delete full exhaust 3 bar map sensor and it pushes 24 to 29 psi and runs absolutely amazing. 0-60 times dropped to 6.8 to 7.5 seconds depending on the launch. I've put over 15,000 miles on this setup. I've got a bigger turbo and a tune for it next
@@gregs_garage thanks for replying I'm interested in seeing other people's builds and their outcomes they come up with because no two cars with the same mods will do the exact same
@@boostedtdis yes I plan to document the results. This is a great car I hope it rips. 11mm pump is in see my other video. Bozio nozzles next Malone tune after that Then later maybe a 17/22 turbo but we will see.
@@gregs_garage it'll rip I'm extremely happy with my results so far it was like a brand new car once I did it I was not expecting it to have as much power as it does now. I have a 05 Jetta with the bew 1.9tdi blown head gasket I'm fixing to start a project with it
I’m anxiously awaiting the results of installing the larger nozzles on this car with the only other mod being the 11mm IP. I only changed nozzles on my ‘96 Passat and was very pleased with the results. Now I have an 11mm pump on the shelf (will likely switch only the plunger head ass’y to avoid having to disassemble the timing belt) and a set of Sprint 520’s on bodies that I am thinking of putting in together and I’d like to see if anyone else has tried that combo on an otherwise stock engine.
thanks. I was just thinking about this today. I have nozzles and the video will be coming soon-ish. Then a tune video. I have been busy with the ZR-1 Corvette and GMC Syclone repairs.
@@gregs_garage I put nozzles in mine a couple years ago and didn't do anything else except for a stainless downpipe with resonator instead of cat and full size all the way out I think two and a half inch with glasspack disconnected the EGR vacuum line, and it made a tremendous difference in power. The fuel pump is starting to act funny now so I may put an 11 mm in that I have on a spare engine.
Question , the heads from latest Alh will work in early Alh’s? In my head I’m thinking the this is only a mechanical part. But I heard the 99 pumps not work on 99.5 and up cars. Maybe is just the electronics?
@@buchhalterkimbo6934 I think a good OEM 11mm that has never been apart is a better solution and delivers more than enough fuel for most applications with proper nozzles and tune. I wouldn't mess around with a chinese 12mm pump head.
@@infernoking7504 you have to buy a "tune" and upload the file using a special adapter that plugs into the OBD2 port. Tunes would go along with upgrades like bigger nozzles, turbo, etc. If you want a cheap DIY method, search the "EVRY mod". Perform at your own risk.

Good. I have bigger nozzle ready to go. Will be making a video of the install and results

@Yusef Ufnagel everything is stock except the 11mm pump. I have big Bosio nozzles to install soon and will get a tune and 3-bar MAP.

let us know how it works. I don't know about changing the pump head instead of the timing belt procedure.
nozzles are coming. Too many projects on the go.
I plan in doing similar with my 03 jetta tdi.
Looking through your channel I don't see any updates for this project. 😕

The nozzles make a big difference.
nozzles are done and the video is coming

@@sabbath7081 the tune is huge. see my other videos about removing EGR, cooler, etc.
I've been hearing some ticking noise while accelerating around 1500-1900rpm
Could that be injectors?
wondering if you got to do the nozzles upgrade?
Still on the work bench. Soon I hope. Right now I have 2 daily drivers with brake pads/rotors to do. Soon I hope
I have a 1z with a 8mm mechanical pump from the 1.9td 75hp version(euro car) and i was thinking of putting the 11mm elements in it,could it work
Did you have to do an adaptation or change a setting in VCDS for the different pump?
No. 11mm same as 10mm. I used VCDS to check timing.
How did the 11mm pump affect your fuel mileage?
no change as far as I can tell.

ever swap out those nozzles and stage 3 tune?
No they are still on my workbench. Soon I hope
Was ist smokey on highway? What do you think about going on a 12mm Pump. Would it deliver more power?
not smokey. never heard of a 12mm pump
@@gregs_garage If not smokey I would go with 12mm or 11mm + bigger nozzles. You can buy it on ebay.

yes video is coming soon. Sub
Do you have to retune the ECM?
yes, a tune is coming... after the new injector nozzles... stay "tuned" for more videos.

yes. will flow more fuel when needed with mods.
