I'm 74 and remember this show very well! To create tears from scratch is something to see!😂

Am I the only one giving a cheer for Nanette Fabray? She seldom misses a beat and keeps up with the craziness every step of the way.

I grew up watching Sid Caesar. I thought he was the most exciting thing on tv. I thank you for giving me a chance to watch these show again. They are every bit as wonderful as I remembered. It feels good to really laugh again!

You're entirely welcome! Glad you're enjoying them. IMHO, Sid was the most multi-talented comedian of his time--and a lot of others! ---kjh

Recently watched this again, and I'm almost embarrassed to admit I relate to it more than a lot of contemporary shows. Anyone who grew up poor and always worries about losing one's middle class security can relate to Sid's character here . . . his distress is funny, but also terribly poignant cause it's so real. Thanks for posting.

Sid Caesar's the only actor of this era who could openly weep & still seem totally manly -- now, that's talent, IMHO . . . .

I am enjoying these "Commuters" sketches almost as much as "The Hickenloopers"! Thanks so much for organizing all these bits into logical playlists, Gary! I was able to watch almost the whole "Commuters" playlist while sorting my laundry this morning! (Yeah, I had a _LOT_ of laundry to sort! --still haven't washed it yet either; that's tomorrow's task. :p )

    According to online $725 in 1956 dollars equals $7,910.95 in 2023. 😮

I love this show! I think it's as good as any "Dick Van Dyke" or etc., better. Those two are terrific together and Caesar is incredible. Completely unpredictable. - The kiss....the crying! Oh, thanks so much!

That is why President Trump keeps saying "Make America Great Again!" YES! America used to be a land of happy people... but, with some malcontents who conspired to bring us down to where we are today.

Can't we leave that guy out of it? I don't need to hear about Trump when I came to here looking for laughs from a true artist instead of a snake oil salesman.

      @@kennethschwartz8974 Thank you, comrade.
Trump is going to win in spite of your hatred. Not because he will be re-elected... He will win if America becomes great again.
