I'm puzzled by the Helle pricing structure. I just bought a Dokka, with a laminated blade, for £90. The Skala blade isn't laminated, yet the knife costs more.. The Bleja is twice the price, and the only discernible difference is slightly larger liners..
I made the lanyard using a noose knot. I learned how to do it by watching solos knife review. He does awsome videos that are really informative. check him out.
Are you sure the Skala is laminated steel? I had thought only the Dokka was triple laminated and the Skala was one piece stainless. Hard to find accurate specs but I have not seen a description of the Skala that said laminated. It is a beauty and I am trying to secede between this and the Dokka.
It's 1227 sandvik steel. It's not laminated. I like coco bolo wood over the curly birch. The skala also sometimes does not come with a sheath so check with the retailer before hand. My helle Eggen has laminated steel and I got confused while I was making the vid. Good observation though. I didn't realize that I said that. Lol. Let me know what you decide , I'm really interested
southpaw chris I will probably go with the Dokka as I like the laminated steel on my older Frost Mora knives and I like the light colored curly birch. The Enzo Borka 90 looks like a nice folding scandi too but wish they did it with birch scales like they do the Birk 75.

How did you make that lanyard? It's awesome. If you have any pointers on it or a video I'd love to see it or hear back from you

Awsome ! Check out equip 2 endure's vid on the dokka. I think bushcraft Bartons does one too. They are both beautiful knives though.
I've found my perfect knife. I love zero bevels. I hate microbevels. How much did it cost you?
It goes for around 120. I'm sure you can find it cheaper if you look around.
southpaw chris I bought one today £123.95 Cotswold picadily London .. I tried to find cheaper but not in UK ..
