I came here for the Hobo stove. What I got was so much more. I’ve watch dozens of Hobo stove vids, so not show casing the stove itself was not a big deal. I loved that you showed your fire making skills. And I myself appreciated the length of it all. It gave me a chance to enjoy the entire songs you choose to go along with a great video. Wonderful job brother!
I really like your video. Was like having the experience myself. I saw your stove design video earlier on my feed, and had to see it in use. You are very artistic. And it answered my thought upon seeing your other video about what the two eyehooks were for- clever. Now I'll be the one sitting in the aisle at the parts store making sure everything fits right. Thank you so much.
Thanks, man. Beautiful video. I don't understand why some folks were bugged by the pace. I found it relaxing. Also, maybe they don't know they can, you know, skip ahead?
Someone commented on how long this or that took and that you should have edited it. I disagree. This was real time and so expectations were not high or low. Besides that's what the slider bar is for, so you can speed it up if you want. Nice job man!
Good video! Nice to see that you have chosen a Finnish Kupilka bowl for your use. Ikea hobo stove is good and cheap. You have a hatch in your own Ikea stove. That's a good idea.
Great video Chris, I enjoyed your video, really don,t care about the shots, care about what I got from the video!!! The stove is killer- like the pack, that Stanley pot is great price of kit. And i like that vest you have on. Thanks for sharing sub!!!!
I like the shot at the beginning showing you walking away from the camera. Very artistic. You should show the shot of you having to walk back to retrieve the camera...
cool video! I'm going to try using wood too, instead of gel fuel cans 👍 however, all those dry leaves around the fire could be a disaster if the stove tipped over.
stoves I've seen. Loved the door! Spikes for feet...good idea.vids? This was one fine example of the reason to know what knife to use for the task. Also one of the best hobo stovAre you new to bushcraft videoWhy are you asking thisWhy are
Is a second bottom added? There seems to at least two flat bolt ends at the bottom row of round holes and two ends with nuts at the opposite end. Was thinking this could be an ash catcher. I was thinking of making some sort of external/add-on ash/ember catcher on mine hobo stove as it makes a lot of ash in a short time.
Ha! If your making Bear Creak it's gonna be a loooong video, lmbo. I do bear creak and it sure ain't as fast as some others but it's cheaper than dirt. I can do a whole weekender for under $10
@@southpawchris704 pretty good idea. I had actually put two bolts thru mine so I could use a sterno can if I wanted and I thought that's what these were for
Some crappy music. And if you could make the video another hour or two longer of doing nothing everybody would fall asleep and had a good night rest. It is like watching paint dry, very exciting.
Yes tip for next time is to show only a short time for each segment. It gets kinda slowed down if you show 2 minutes of feathering. But the shots itself are nicely done
Good grief .... how many knives do you need.... do you carry a proper tea set as well?? Yo must be the last person on earth to carry an aluminum canteen. Please don't make a video on how to make a cat hole.

that twig stove looks awesome man. Well done on the video too! I liked the background music.

I loved this video. I'm blessed, too, brother...by His love and by your effort. Thank you!
Nice video thanks

Nice details with the hinged door and scewers
I enjoyed this video a lot. Good skill set, implements and music. Well done brother
Awesome vid Chris!
Love the vibe and music.
So much fun watching.

So beautiful. Music. Demonstration. Hike trail. All of it. Thank you so much for sharing.
Some people just never figure it out, wish you well!
Great little stove you made there :)
really great video! From one southpaw to another! Great job!
Hahaha awsome. Thanks southpaw. Nice to hear from another lefty. Thank you. I plan on doing a lot more like it.
cool video! I'm going to try using wood too, instead of gel fuel cans 👍 however, all those dry leaves around the fire could be a disaster if the stove tipped over.
Yep, that looks like yet another fire in the making. I don't understand why folks are not more cautious. Just have a good look at Paradise, CA.
So mache ich meinen Ikea Hobo nicht an. Nutze Streichholz und trockenes Gras etc als Zunder.😮😊😊 Aber deine Kamin Tür ist mal was Neues!
Beautifully done!
Great Ikea hack, going to have to make one of those.
Just watched the intro vid of the stove. Glad you followed up with a demo. Cheers!
Thank you ! I want to do more. stay tuned
Good video. Would have liked to see more on the stove. It looks like a great set up!
He has a video of just the stove, that's how I found his channel
Really nice vid man :) Thank you for sharing!
Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you moleprice. I will try not to have such long shots in the future lol. I plan on doing a lot more outing vids. Thanks for the support.
Very good content, thank you.
Super,like!

Sorry. Amazon Kindle Fire attacks comment replies. Plus won't show what you typed until you post. Very frustrating!

Had to turn off. I thought it was about an ikea stove. Turns out it's just some numpty trying to sing
Nice relaxing video. I enjoyed watching it

The music is inspiration Chris thanks for showing us the joys of nature and cooking God bless
I normally tunred the sound down. the music was great.
Good video but the music has got to go..
Cant watch anymore..
See ya
i skipped ahead to 7:40
nice video and stove. sucks that there's no sounds.
nice soundtrack man
O k it take to long to start a firer and to you in the wood there is wood sticks dry leaves on the ground good stove tho.
Why take the time to make a negative comment just bug out. Good vid man
the 2 round eye hooks on either side? what are they for?
The two eyelets on the side are handles. They can also be used to suspend the stove to keep it off the ground if needed.
@@southpawchris704 pretty good idea. I had actually put two bolts thru mine so I could use a sterno can if I wanted and I thought that's what these were for
musique trop forte, je préfère les bruits de la nature
Sorry .. the music .. too much!
Sorry, no talk, no watch..... bye..! BTW, don't like the music..?
Now are you selling this design?
I don't understand why there are 74 people who disliked this video?
Blessed in Jesus name...
Some crappy music. And if you could make the video another hour or two longer of doing nothing everybody would fall asleep and had a good night rest. It is like watching paint dry, very exciting.
a lot of wasted video shot!
I was trying to show time as it was. Thanks for the comment. I will work on it

But the shots itself are nicely done
Thank you for the advice. I will keep that in mind on the next outing video. Thanks for the comment.
The video space was not wasted if you enjoyed it.
I like the long format videos!
Cat Stevens ?
man your canteen sucks but not as bad as that song...Lol I couldn't even finish watching the video
62 thumbs down and counting... I clicked your video to see a stove, not your life man....
Wer kann sich diese Musik lange anhöhren? Ich nicht, da bekommt man Ohrenkrebs
Horrible music. Loud music negates a good review totally.
That music was terrible!😵😵😵😵
use a match ffs
Lose the annoying music.
Good grief .... how many knives do you need.... do you carry a proper tea set as well?? Yo must be the last person on earth to carry an aluminum canteen. Please don't make a video on how to make a cat hole.
The musics horrible
The music is just horrible sorry not sorry
Nice Video thank you
