Who am I:
Archer is a study coach, entrepreneur, 4th year medical student and UA-camr. Having conducted educational workshops with over 10,000 students in total, Archer has helped countless individuals to better themselves and achieve their academic goals.
Archer has strived to empower students with the information required to improve their study skills and productivity ever since he realised the lack of strongly evidence-backed recommendations on UA-cam back in 2020.
Archer is a very strong proponent of building skills and in doing so, he has achieved a perfect score in Year 12, as well as a perfect GPA through medical school. He has achieved this simultaneously while running multiple online businesses and regularly creating time to be with friends and family.
He hopes the information he shares can help others excel to heights they never thought possible.

The editing style and information are amazing
Ive got the 14inch m1 pro as a high school student, would recommend not getting the pro the air is enough. Btw love the new video style
alternatively you could get a clearance m1 pro 14 inch or a refurb instead of the 15 inch
They've alraedy done the tests on the Macbooks using 8GB vs 16GB with the exact same specs. It turns out having more RAM does NOT increase the speed in any way and it's only upgrading the processor that increases the speed. Yes, if you manage to overload the RAM by having a giant resolution image in Photoshop or having a really big After Effects project, only then will it make any difference. But honestly, 99% of the time you're not gonna be overloading that RAM and even if you do, the memory swap will save you 99% of the time. It is extremely hard to overload the RAM. Even opening 100 chrome tabs with videos playing in the background won't do it. You really need to open up a file that will comsume the entire RAM pool to be able to do it. Something like a large panoramic image that consists of stitching ten 45 megapixel images. The only upgrade you should ever get on this computer is the 512GB hard drive in my opinion. If you're even thinking about upgrading the RAM, you should just buy a refurbished 14" macbook pro.
Agree, one good example would be using emulators or virtual machines, which can eat up the memory very quick.
Switching between multiple light apps would be no problem on 8gb, but one heavy program can break those limits, and if you were to use two, you can't. By heavy programs, I mean ram-intensive not cpu-intensive. So pro is not needed, but a ram upgrade is, depending on the user.
Hey there. I see that your description says you do study coaching, and I'm interested in learning from you if you're willing to teach. I really resonate with your story, as I also put thousands of hours into videogames while getting A/B/C type grades throughout highschool. Recently I've been getting serious about studying and I genuinely am desperate to learn how to learn.
I went from Intel 2020 MacBook Air and went straight to the M2 MacBook Air 15 inch with 24GB Ram and 256 SSD storage and its a definite powerhouse! Especially with the educational discount! No regrets
2:11 I don't understand. Why couldn't you plug a USB hub that has a Displayport/HDMI port on it? You would then have the charging port free. In fact, there are Displayport cables with charging capabilities as well (like the Delock Thunderbolt™ 3 (40 Gb/s) USB-C™ cable male 84844).
I have a doubt in mind map.
Do u make a new mind map for every unit, say 1 for Cardiovascular system, 1 for digestive system, 1 for CNS
Or one for every chapter, cuz the map might become too big.
And should the mind map be revised same as the flash cards, as in 1 day 3 days 1 week 1 month and so on.
Two videos in two weeks!
Archer your affiliate links are not fully hyperlinks (I think they are missing a slash)
Make a video on mind mapping please.
I am confused. Can you please tell me : So for a regular student who just surf on internet, watch movies and prepares documents will 8gb RAM be a problem or not? Is it safer to invest in 16?? Cos where I live the cost difference is big ((
yea
No, not really.
Unless you're going to have loads of things open, or your gaming.
