I still remember the time when i was a kid, our Ps2 doesn't have a memory card so we just grind all day and try unlocking all the monsters before bedtime. Then we do the same process the next day 😂
i think the mistake they made in this game was giving us too many monsters to choose from and moving away from the classic 2D style graphics...if i had designed a new Rampage game i would have simply done this: character wise i would have just had: George, Lizzy, Ralph, Boris, Ruby, Curtis, Harley, Myukus (green alien) and maybe four new monsters that you can unlock (i say unlock...no DLC garbage). the graphics could be relatively similar to this game but changing it from 2D to 3D is what ruined it...also taking away the classic comical style of how they destroyed cities or towns was also changed...Rampage 1 and 2 were brilliant because it was silly and cartoon like...they should have kept that. In regards to what NEW monsters i would have: Leo the Lion, Ramsey the Ram, Crock the Crocodile and Shelby the Tortoise i feel those are the most creative...some of the other new ones were just too silly and over the top. another problem this game suffered from was the "difficulty issue" even if you set it to the easiest difficulty it was much harder than the classic games...the AI could kill you so much easier...when you design a game you want EASY...to be EASY...and you want HARD...to be HARD...if you can't program the difficulty right then you messed up. the classic Rampage was much better in that regard.
Well, in my perspective, Scum Soda turns people into giant monsters that have destroyed cities, and if that continues, the monsters will take over the world.
I never thought that the movie Rampage was based on a video game franchise. I discovered this opus and the 1st one only recently. And it looks better than the movie.
@@MK1MonsterOck1989 well yeah that's in the movie but in this game the wolf can't fly(i meant yes they all can fly but it's using spinning hand not the wing)
@@fahrezasatria3587 that’s right in the movie they did a few differences in it such as making George an albino gorilla instead of a Giant DK knock off Lizzie was made into a crocodile instead of a lizard (considering how they already have Crock The Crocodile here) and Ralph again he can fly similar to the kaiju Varan

I always find it funny how there are like 3 or 4 walking animation in this game, with different attack, jumping, climbing animation associate with that particular walking animation, for example: George's, Ralph and Lizzie's, etc. Very nice detail tbh

It is last Rampage game released by Midway Games, until the company in 2009 filed for bankruptcy and sold most of its assets (including Rampage) to Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. Also, the game has differences between PS2/GC and Wii versions.
I wish there was way more cities to destroy like Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Dubai, Sydney, Singapore, Shanghai, Madrid, Rome, Amsterdam, Cairo, Johannesburg, New Delhi, Houston, Detroit, Toronto, Vancouver, New Orleans, Miami, Mexico City, Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Rio de Janero, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, Tashkent, Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, and Baghdad.
I played this on my Nintendo gamecube, my parents sold it, so I've been sad for years. I loved this game, still do, I beat it more than 20 times. I miss it
After 13 years I finally beat all 7 cities of rampage total destruction all by myself no help no cheats I finally did it finally got the credits it will be so much easier doing it with another person I've now beaten over 100 of my games that I own
This game also includes the original Rampage and Rampage World Tour(64) with the game so if you can get your hand on Total Destruction you get three games in one.
I still remember the time when i was a kid, our Ps2 doesn't have a memory card so we just grind all day and try unlocking all the monsters before bedtime. Then we do the same process the next day 😂

I remember spinning this game in case and breaking it. Was my favorite game as kid.
Ps2 yup playing it all day untill bedtime yup was little yup growing up with yesss
Or you could use the cheatcodes. Back then when they would sell the cheatcode books in the book fair.
This game was so far ahead of it’s time in terms of graphics and gameplay truly a gem that needs to comeback

Love this game. I betcha the creators were Ramones fans. You can hear their songs in the game music. Also, Lizzie was always my favorite.
Thanks for this! Ralph has always been my favorite, and this is one of my favorite games.
Ralph was the best he got have an animation of falling off the buildings remember
There is always this kind of game that way ahead of its time.
I hope they have monster insurance.

We need a remake or remastered or a new game of this it was a great game
They did do a remake. It's at Dave and busters
Talk this to WB
I'm glad someone put this up. I never got the chance to play but I love it. Nice game play.
