I love everything about this video; the shots, young Lemmy with impeccable fashion sense (don't even get me started on those aviator shades!), the music (perfect blend of metal with the right amount of punk rock) and the overall energy... what a time to be alive, wish I could see them once at least!
I reckon it is the best. That and No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith are the best. Dancing on Your Grave or Marching Off To War would have been better choices for a single though imo.
This is by far one of my top favourite Motorhead songs, the music structure of this song perfectly represents the greatness of 80s heavy metal in general!!! I often have this song crankin up full blast in my 80s thrash metal playlist when I'm speeding up the freeway in my car!!!
This album and this line-up is proof that rock and metal fans can be pretty narrow-minded. Before the 're-union hype' of late 1990's / early 2000's, Motorhead went through their own phase in 1983, when fans were pretty disgruntled with this Motorhead line-up. Just read Lemmy's autobiography about that time in the band's career to see what they went through. To Lemmy's wonder, these songs were hailed as masterpieces later in the bands career.

I loved this album when It came out. Robo's look didn't botner me one bit. I loved the new direction of the band and was hoping for more. Unfortunately, we know what happened. Saw this lineup play and honestly, I don't remember what Robo wore and frankly never gave a shit. It was loud,hot & sweaty. Just the way a Motorhead show should be!

I'm 61 now,and had the"privilege of seeing the "No Remorse" tour in a century old movie theater in Upper Darby,PA Another Perfect Day was released around the same time.Brian wasn't on the tour,Lemmy had 2 guitar players-Wurzel and I forget the other players name but,when they played this song it sounded like someone put on a record.Those 2 players definitely did Brian's work on this track justice!!!!)

First of all, I love all of the early Motörhead albums, especially from Overkill until Orgazmatron. From these early classics, Another Perfect Day sounds maybe the freshest to my ears. It just somehow grows better and bigger as it ages. It also demonstrated how talented Lemmy was - he had been great in speed metal, rock'n roll, punk, but this time he played some melodic hard rock on the highest level. I am pretty sure we will not see a similar talent in the history of rock'n roll anymore.
Recently revisited Another Perfect Day and when it came to this track I almost immediately wondered why I hadn't yet added this to my Motörhead playlist. Great track. Legends never die. Even when they are killed by death. ♠🤘
I don't a lot about Motorhead the way a lot of hardcore fans do but it seems every time I listen to a new Motorhead track it's absolutely fucking awesome. I'm going to get into these guys after decades of just of sort of knowing about them as a casual fan. I'm 54 and this is a great feeling to get into new music.

"Another Perfect Day" was rejected by many 1st hour fans. Personally, I consider the participation of the guitarist of Thin Lizzy as a genius idea without which this song would not have seen the light of day. Lemi's flights of fancy on vocals do the rest.
I bought the best of Motorhead on CD back in 1986. My first Motorhead album but I also got Ace of Spades on tape. Another Perfect Day had a good amount of tracks o. It. Very accessible to my ears. Rocked and grooved. I hear his R&B influence as heavy as it may be. I finally got Another Perfect Day remastered on CD back in 2006 at Tower Records in Atlanta. Great CD.
Beast of a song.....Lemmy loved the Beatles (often mentioned that the Stones were educated "whimps" (he used a different word lol)....this is so Lennon to the next level. Certainly a Beatles twist....on steroids...Well done Lemmy....very under recognized piece.

I've heard a LOT of people say that thiswas their weakest album including the late great LK. I want to say that the album may not have sold like their biggest sellers but its one of their best and this is easily in the top 5 of their best songs ...... I love it.

It's really facinating how this live version just sounds exactly like the studio version. Pretty every note and timing is just like a perfect match.
