Man, I remember talking about this Series at school when I was just in 5th grade. I remember going to school the morning after Carlton Fisk’s classic home run to tie Series at 3-3. Unfortunately for Boston, the Bambino’s Curse kicked in, and Boston lost Game 7. I’m 60 now. That old saying that life is short is true. These years seem to have gone by so fast. It’s incredible. But thank goodness for all the GREAT music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. For me, the 80s was the most creative and innovative decade for music. But the 90s were too, but in a very different style overall.
The Reds were such a monster team by the time they trampled our Phillies in 76. So strange that The Big Red Machine would morph into The Wheeze Kids 1983.
