This gem is finally available. I'm not sure if you've had a chance to test Cloud 2 wireless on PS5 or PS4. But if yes, would you say Alpha wireless is the same at max volume or louder? That's always been my biggest gripe due to 60 ohms. You got a sub.
Did u get them yet? I consider the same - for warzone 2. Im torn between the Cloud Core (129 euros), Cloud 2 (169 euros) and Cloud Alpha (169 euros - discount from 229 euros). I live in Greece, so the prices are different. Which one would you recommend?
I feel like they should have made mic a bit better just based on listening to your sample. Secondly I'm surprised there is no Bluetooth option that some of those competitors do have. Would be nice to wirelessly connect cell phone. Lastly, I used Logitech in past and they had a swivel on the ear and I'm thinking that would add to the comfort of these perhaps at the expense of durability but I'd probably go for comfort. Anyway, that's my two cents.
i spent about $250 for he PlayStation pulse headset for my pc and ps5 even though it has a aux cord to use i prefer to use it wireless and man i hate that the battery life is so short, but the cloud alpha was $50 cheaper and far more comfortable i highly recommend but a buddy of mine got his hands on the cloud II which is way cheaper than both headset i believe those are $150 and just as good so its all about what floats your boat i don't like wired headphones so i spent the extra $50 on the alpha and man not worrying about charging it is a big plus for me
I have only a question: what about hissing? I tried a lot of wireless headset (Razer Nari Ultimate, Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless (what a s**t), Corsair Virtuoso XT, HyperX Cloud II Wireless) and, except the Nari, I can hear the sound of power supply or something similar constantly. Unfortunately, there are a lot of reasons why I don't like the Nari Ultimate and I wanna go for something better (the mic on them is horrible) and simpler in design (the Nari are extremely big), but I literally hate that constant sound/hiss/rustle/buzz (or call it as you prefer). What about this headset? I'm so tired to try all headset just to send them back =|
haven't tested these yet, but i do have the epos h3pro hybrid wireless here, they sound great and no hissing sounds. and yes i know what you mean with that. got the hissing sound with the audeze penrose, its subtle but once you notice it its not easy to forget.
@@MadCheese1337 Exactly. I can accept that there is some, but if I can hear it at 50% of volume, the wireless connection has no sense in my opinion. And all of the headsets I mentioned has this problem, on the Steelseries it even covers the sound you're playing, so what's the reason why I have to spend twice for the wireless variant? This mean that I will not have the same sound quality, so why those prices?
@@vittoriokenobi3678 well if i had the cloud alpha wireless here i could test it out and tell you but since its "not" readily available in a brick and mortar store near me yet no chance there. as i mentioned so far the h3pro hybrid wireless do a good job with sound and microphone so far, haven't heard any hissing yet been testing via dongle, wired usb connection and bluetooth. didnt test wired 3.5 connection yet but out of all those connections you will either use it with the dongle or usb wired anyway.
"Can you use HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless on Xbox? According to HyperX, the Cloud Alpha gaming wireless headset works with PC, Playstation, and Xbox. It connects to these platforms via USB-A dongle and uses a 2.4GHZ wireless connection. In my testing the Cloud Alpha was also compatible with Chromebooks and Macbooks." 🍻
Can you please tell me how does it compare directly to the wired cloud alpha is the sound and microphone better worse or the same, I can’t find any Review that answers that and because you have used the wired alpha it would help me a lot, thanks
@@ilikedoodless well I ordered it from Amazon, tried to make the microphone somewhat like the wired one and after I couldn’t I returned it the same day
The mic’s don’t sound like the way this video represents them my son has this headset doesn’t cut out but I think my son keeps it’s fairly close to his mouth
you currently still cannot use dts:x on windows 11 so i wouldnt recommend this headset. another thing that annoys me is that if you do use that voice speaker that tells your charge capacity, you also have it where it says "connected" & "disconnected". And whenever i go to the bathroom its just out of range where it keeps going "connected"-disconnected" in a loop. so i either have to deal with that or dont have the feature of knowing my charge capacity.
Am I going crazy or does this guy have minecraft music playing quietly in the background? Also, do these headphones crack and pop? Yes, or no? the amazon reviews say they do.
Honestly my only thing is the ear cushions feel better but everything else feels better on the wireless for sure. Maybe I just need to break into them more as well because my alpha s were definitely worn in 😂
10:20 mic test something is wrong...
The battery life is crazy, when I got it, it was on 90 percent. 2 hours later it was still on 90 percent
I hope this will come in blue like the Alpha S or all black
Thanks for the review!
very good review, good job man

Great video. Thanks
Great honest review mate. Is it good for warzone? Planning to buy it when I've save up enough money and use to ps4. Or Cloud 2 wireless.

Can they be used on series 2
Just got mine. Love everything about it. Can't determine if the DTS actually does a single change though.
Are you using them with playstation?
how long did it take them to ship them to you? Ordered mine a few days ago and still haven't gotten an update that they shipped.
@@chrisdietz3771 I went to Best Buy and picked those suckers up with my hands my good sir.

I just came home with them and they hiss like a bitch for me, maybe I'm sensible to this sound I don't know.

You think the mic sounds okay when half the words cut out?
Can the headset be muted via the DualSense controller (PS5)? Or must I mute the mic via the headset itself every time?

Hyper X is garbage bro. They don't last at all. Get some Corsair HS80 instead. Only thing better is the battery life on these, that's it.
Do they work with the xbox series x?
Yes
@Bl0ck do they actually

Just don't lose the dongle... Wont sell replacements and it bricks the headset - wasted loads of cash on this - really disappointed
Not worth the price at all. Corsair HS80 blows these out the water.
Not loud enough for ps5. My old hyperx 7.1 wired way way louder.
Did you found solution to increase volume on ps5 for them? I wanted to buy this headphones but saw your reply
No I returned them back i kept my old wired hyperx . The one that has 7.1 little box that the headphones connect.
Features 100% 😂😂😂😂😂😂
How do I urs it on Xbox
