  • Had a Hawke Airmax SR 12 since 2005 and it works well, never had any issues with it build wise. The thing that, over the years, started to get to me was the parallax was adjustable from the front (AO) which was starting to be a pain as you had to lean so far forwards to adjust it, especially a ball ache with the night vision fitted. Also, I found when I was shooting in, or into, dimly lit areas I couldn't see the cross hairs. So I decided to change it for a scope with side parallax and an illuminated reticle (IR), and this is it, the Hawke Vantage 30 WA SF 4-16x50 .

Don't you just need to look through the scope & focus the parallex ring, provided the reticle is also sharp, then you're good to go? I do this with my Hawke scope & I always nail the target. Or have I got this wrong?
    Thanks for the vid.

239 wowwww, that scope is 555 Euros in the Netherlands. I can't justify to pay more then double the money than it's worth only for customs/taxes what ever.
