I am mounting this on my Tikka T3 Hunter 30-06 rifle using medium height rings.The bell is real close but not touching the barrel. It gives me perfect relief and setup for me.As long as the scope isn't touching is my understanding.Will my 30-06 beat it up???
Hi i have this scope. I have zeroed it at 30 yards. At at 50 yards the hold it 3mil dot. So i dial 30 clicks for my crossairs to be at 50 yards but this dont happen can anyone help or am i doing it all wrong
Excuse me for not knowing but I’m very new to owning rifles. I use an air rifle with this scope and I wanted to know how you go about opening the adjustment caps so that when it’s zeroed you can put it at zero. Also do you know how to change the battery? Thanks
Hi Aaron. If it is this specific model you have the turrets do not have a cap as they are exosed and click into place. This scope does not have a zero hold feature. You can change the battery by removing the cover on the illumination turrett. Details of this can be found in your instruction booklet. Thanks

I thought maybe that once the rifle was zeroed you could set the dials to zero because they have a little hole in them to suggest a screw driver or maybe a alan key goes in it. Thanks

Thanks for your question. You are correct - so long as the scope ocular or objective bell are not touching the rifle, you will be fine.

Hawke Sport Optics so you can’t take the screws out and move the turret back to displaying zero??
Hawke optics can you remove the 3 Allan grub screws and move the turret to zero once you have zeroed the scope to your preferred shooting distance .
