Perfectly clear explanation. Thanks a lot!
No Problem, hope you get everything restored In perfect order.
Great info as always. Thank you.
Thanks, I have a string of international flights this month so I’ll have plenty of time to edit some more videos.

Thank you! This saved saved me a ton of time!
Glad to help. Thanks for the comment
I did a parent folder for the new drive, but shoot, I guess I didn't for the one that died. So I can't just "find" the one folder, but I don't have to do every folder, do I? I can just do the "year" folders and it will include the subfolders within each year?
Yes, you can just do the year folders and everything else will fall in place.
@@naturemikephoto Thank you SO much! One more thing. Once this is all done, and I'm absolutely sure it's done right, can I remove the old drive from LR, so I don't see it on the left side anymore? If so, is it just click and remove?
Oh, you’ve stumped me on that one. There’s certainly wouldn’t be any issue with removing the old drive. I’m not sure if you can just control it right click on it to remove it or not though. Since I don’t have a catalog with a blank drive, I can’t test that it certainly will not harm your catalog, though if you can figure out how to do it.
I'm sorry to bother again. About to follow the instructions in the video, but I realize I did something different (wrong?). I already imported all the photos on the new drive through LR, so LR sees them (unlike in your video), but the catalog (edits) aren't connected to them. Can I still help the new drive (and photos) find the old edits, or do I have to remove all the photos from LR, and just do it the way the video shows?
