Well they are very much related. They are both of the weasel family, which include weasles, ferrets, otters, ermines, stoats, minks and badgers (and more!).
What a lithe and supple little animal! Looks like a ferret until you see them together. And what a well-behaved, well-socialised mink Chi Chi is! She completely goes against the reputation mink have for aggression and being difficult to handle. And I'm sure it's all due to a ton of 1 on 1 work, by Mikayla and helpers to build that bond!
I think if I were ever stressed I would just go watch chichi play. What a sweet animal. Thank you for sharing this ❤️ you are truly an Angel on earth 🌻😇

she used to b with Atlas but Scarlet came. Scarlet is more agressive &difficult &she likes Atlas so Mikayla put them 2gether to socialize her. bsides, Chi2 is deaf &going blind, she cant b with random mink.
Aww! Chichi looks like such a dainty little thing but she isn't above getting her paws wet to tidy up the swimming pool, lol. She likes her living space organized a specific way, I definitely can relate to that 😂

Chichi is a jaguar mink. Jaguar can be in all colors except sapphire, Chichi is brown jaguar. They are usually really calm and relaxed species, tamest one of all the minks. i dont know how much of the calmness is because they are all deaf.

Ive seen videos of them taking out muskrats and rats amd stuff. Crazy how stubborm they are. They just keep going til the muskrat or whatever is too tired to fight anynore. I have asked before but I dont think Ive gotten an answer. Have you ever brought them some live minnows or shiners or other small bait fish and put them in a pool for them to chase and hunt? Itd be good for them and Im sure theyd enjoy it. Just an idea. Love your videos! ❤❤
