Excellent analysis..Olgiati is an architect who will have done some interesting works at the beginning of his career then, like so many today, took the path of solipsistic trivialisation in order to profile himself (only that option remaining, since from a creative point of view he soon found himself at the end of the line).
What is actually the difference between a building and a shoe? (both require human thought, planning, effort, craftsmanship) in economic terms poor people cannot afford high quality of neither, buildings even less. I agreed with your general negative attitude towards this architect, but oddly I like the first building you showed "Perm museum" - its silly graphic symmetry and repetitiveness (what you called a joke) has something in it, it looks like a wedding dress of sorts, or hanging laundry. In the beginning I hoped this is his style and was disappointed.

Are you incorrectly using the term parapet? Seems to be the case. Therefore any of your architectural analysis is void.
