German guitarist Jen Majura mentioned a "pro tip" in one of her videos: she said that on her guitar, which has a Floyd Rose, she puts the strings in backwards, meaning she threads the front end of the string through the hole in the tuning peg, allowing the ball on the end of the string to secure it in place. Then she snips a bit off the front of the string before securing it in the floating bridge. I thought that was very clever.

@@RICCARDOREARDON Hi @Riccardoreardon, Thankyou for watching and your comment, I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Yes I love both the guitars you mention, I must admit, the Ibanez jem7vwh is an amazing guitar to play.
I hope you keep watching, and thanks again
      Rock On!

Mate, that's not a Lo Pro Edge. It's an Edge Pro - and that's why you can leave the 'ball ends' on the strings. The Edge Pro is a decent trem but needed the Locking Post mod to give it similar tuning stability to the Original Edge or Edge Lo Pro variants. Ibanez went back to using the Original Edge and Edge Lo Pro in 2010. The Edge Pro hasn't been used since....
