I've never really been a serious student, but always wanted to be - these methods are so great. I know its not necessarily anything new per say - I just really appreciate you putting this out there with a chill approach. Makes me motivated to keep going. Cheers and take care.
This is a great idea thanks for sharing!! When I first started learning I used a notebook and grouped words in categories in how I associated them together, ususally topically, as I got to learn more I stopped doing this and used anki and Hack Chinese software for my flashcards while I like it, I don't think it was as effective for the recall... Just wondering as I am still only beginer-intermediate is it better to link by character association than topically? Thanks!
I know you quit your job but please show us how you studied medicine - it's clear you've refined you're learning process and I'd love to see how you applied it academically
What keyboard input do you use for Chinese? I tried this, but I cant input anything into the mindmap in Chinese. It just leaves a blank, very annoying.. Thanks for sharing though!

No! I didn't use mind maps when I study English. I'll try it out later.
Your voice is very suited to this format, definitely suitable

I've done both by character and topically before! I think both have their merits and help to reinforce memory but I think I tend to do character more!
@@thedanyopang Ok perfect! thanks, giving it a go now 😁

Hey good idea TC, here's an example of a mind map that I made in the past, let me know if this helps.

Nice one! Just clarifying you are learning Simplified Chinese characters and not Traditional?
I'm learning both actually! I want to be able to read both, they're not too different once you get used to the patterns.
try to make example on another language
