I have no idea how Mortske works full time, does his daily around the property duties, personal stuff, have a personal life, etc, but still has time to give us always great content pretty darn near every week. I have a hard enough time keeping my shit together with a daily life without additional activities. Thank you for these old "Ferds" content. I salute you. And Duff of course. OK, and even Chin. Gotta give him credit. Wife would probably even give you credit because everytime I watch a video it gives me ambition to go work on my truck so she can get her car back in the garage.😄
One of your best! Absolutely LOVE the slo-mo replays of your face when the tire blows. Priceless! Keep these great videos coming and keep Duff opening those hoods!
@Mortske Repair The 360 fe has the lowest compression ratio of all the FE engines. TDC is 1/8in below deck. A true smog motor! They are in nearly every truck I have run across and I wish someone made a piston that sits at or near 0 deck. With those kind of pistons, good heads, 4 barrel intake, and headers, it could be better than the 352. Great video!
Another great Video. There are a lot of us out there that can work on/repair cars, trucks, machines and so on - but making it entertaining is an art, and you have that ability. Thanks!
Man, the Duffster was shaking the rust off and showing some speed and agility! Love the video…makes me think of how cars and trucks just weren’t that complicated in the past. Thanks for taking us along on this one!
Every once in a while, you come across a motor that just want to keep on going... Great video!!! Thank you Mortske for showing us how to do this stuff...if not for you...sammiches to you Buddy!!
Those snow-nuts were a blast!! Get it?? Blast, exploding tires, get it?? Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Great episode as always!! Thanks for the smiles and laughs!!
Lots of fond memories the last couple weeks! The parts are well worth the price of admission on this truck! Great video and thanks for taking us along. Now Peg just needs to stick a dirty old 12v in it and drive across Canada in it.. 😆
The square headlight debate. LOL. I had a 78 with square headlights. They weren't supposed to have them until 79 but I had a lot of 79 features on that one. It was actually built in 77 which makes it even more interesting. Amazing how we have so few mice just north of you and yet they can do so much damage in ND. Maybe they respect the border. Those 360s were not my favorite engine (I drove one). In later years they used more 400s like mine had. It was OK.
Reminds me a bit of Sleeperdude's wifes pickup. They really are great trucks. I have a soft spot for the dent sides, both of my grandpa's had one back in the day.

I don’t know what it is, but after I turned 50, being seen while driving my big truck, or riding my bike became very important. Next thing I knew, I’ve got lights everywhere on everything. I think you can see my side by side from space! Well, at least I don’t wear shorts with dress shoes and black socks!!
Hey! You got a Fird running without much hassle 👍 it was cool as hell watching you blow up four tires. This really was a great video. That's funny, Duff thinks he's going pheasant hunting 😂 keep up the good work dude 👍✌️🇺🇲
When I had my '70 F100, it ate through the rag joint at the worst possible time. The sun was hot. The sweat poured into my eyes. The speed was a little more than the posted limit but WAY more than the truck should've been going in its condition. The road curved a little to the right. The steering wheel spun freely in my hands. The truck continued to go straight. The curse words came out of my mouth faster than Eminem's Rap God lyrics. The red Corvette parked in the pawn shop parking lot kept getting closer. The oncoming traffic swerved, stopped, and honked their collective horns. The brakes barely worked enough to slow me down as I jumped the curb and came to a halt about a foot from the fiberglass fun machine. The AutoZone employee asked me if it was 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. The rubber hockey puck was unpleasant to replace in 110 degree heat and 200 percent humidity. The truck made it back to the all bills paid apartment. The air conditioning growled but did not relieve the tension. The sleep lasted sixteen hours that night.
That engine sounded really good once you ran it for a while. It will make a good engine for somebody's project. It sounds like it has some life left in it.
360 Ford, no power, bad mileage but they will keep on gulping oil and eating your wallet for lots of miles. Good "going to the dump" type of truck or crashing out next to the lake whilst "fishing" and hiding out from the ol' lady. Great content thanks for making my Monday!

Definitely a getting it done and having fun so I was checking they're for sale can't believe you still have that nomad the Buick a I thought you just sent right to scrap 🤣
Definitely old man truck.... Bought a '87 Ranger (the compact truck) 2wd long box back in '94. A red truck. Had a red bug shield and aluminum running boards as well as similar aluminum topper. Only sticker was a pheasants forever. The prior owner was a retired town cop. The bug guard got removed after the first time I drove it at night. Lit up like a big red glowing log out there and a distraction for sure. Running boards got removed kept banging my shins on them. Topper got left as it was handy to keep stuff locked up out of the weather. That ignition pickup could be for a aftermarket cruise control maybe?

Hey Mortske: Exceptional job on the 76 Ford P/U especially getting it running... Fords will normally give you headaches so its good that you got it going... From the home of PB Blaster Silicone spray... Cleveland, Ohio.....
Thanks John
I had the exact same vacuum leak from the break booster this week. I wish I had watched this video first. Took me a while to find.
You are having to much fun with the old ford. A great week it running and drive. Great video what a gem 💎.
Thanks Roy
Mortske is the crew chief engineer you want in the top turret on every mission before takeoff.
The guy has warrior instincts to keep the plane in the air.
When he burned off the drum to get the girl running, you know he's Patton get the job done and move 'em out intelligence.
And as always, have you ever seen such intelligence in the Duff dogs eyes when he's flying co-pilot with Mort? They are liquid brown poetry.
Good job!
Much appreciated
I could smell that floorboard while you were cleaning it out
Mmm
it looks a little chillier there than your Arizona pics! Your eagles head coach is from my neck of the wood , Bills country!
Awesome
