I have never encountered a company that really goes above and beyond for their drivers. This company really takes care of you. I'll be praying for you Becca. Bad luck is nothing but good things coming in the future.
Hello young lady. My wife and I love watching your videos. I just gotta say I have 25years of trucking experience and you are not lazy!! Respect to you.
We’ve all had weeks like that where nothing goes right, but just another day in paradise. Keep that great attitude and you’ll be just fine. Be safe out there!
Becca, if you did a pretrip, you would of seen the low air lines. Truck looks good . Maintenance guys should of known better. Trust your judgment on things you see that look wrong, make it right. Hang in there. Retired after 36 years of driving.
Have the shop repair them old hoses and keep them in your truck as spares you may never need them but it nice to know that they are there just in case ❤🙏🌻
Wow you definitely had an adventurous time with the new headache rack, air line, trailer weight, lost boots. Glad you got to make the delivery after all and don't worry that was just a little something to deal with. Hopefully no more problems but I can say your company definitely cared enough to come help you out and get you going again. Thanks for the video BigRig Becca, stay safe and don't worry about what you say just be you we get it!
I am a new to trucking, but must say there seems to be many who make sarcastic comments which is uncalled for!!!! It’s hard to admit to mistakes but it’s whole different story to post for all too see!!! Your doing a great job!!! Love the dogs…😊😊😊
I'm a trucker here in the UK, you are a breathe of fresh air, you took those negative events in your stride, love your positivity, you're a role model for young women looking to get into the industry, hats off to you Becca!

Yep, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure the hoses do not drag and weigh the load so you do not get a ticket. Believe me, if you had to pay for that ticket, and the hoses, and you should, you would not take it so lightly. You say that you like how your new boss treats you. Just be sure you take VERY good care of them financially.
@@bigrigger5617 Very true, but still the drivers responsibly to check that it won't fall into the tires like that. It was completely obvious the lines would fall into the tires. Lesson learned, I hope!

@John Smith the shop put them on wrong..not her fault!..you probably work in a shop easier to blame the driver..could see if something broke enroute..but that's how they were put on
Little late here, since this is three months old, but I back in my own trucking days (predominantly flatdecks and RGNs), I pretty much always had a bungee or two hanging off the headache rack suspending the air lines and pigtail so it wouldn't get caught up or rub anywhere. Since the bungees stretch, you can usually get it where there's enough play for turning while ensuring that the lines pretty much never touch anything.

There were days I got away with everything and some days I got away with nothing and ended up looking really stupid. Trucking will do that to ya. Just do your best everyday and as the loads roll on so will your experience. Every load brought me new problems to conquer and just being there out on the road brought it’s own set of problems. Have yourself a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring.
Had a similar week this week. Replaced a leaking air bag in NV. Had it blow out, putting all 4 axles of the bull rack on the ground as I roll by CHP sitting in the Sacramento scale. Somehow didn't get stopped. Had 2 new ones put on, and picked up some steers going to CO. Stopped to check on them and what do you know... an air bag on a different axle has a hole in the bottom. Get the fellas off that morning and find 2 tires wiped out as well. I load tomorrow, so I shall see what fun is instore on this run.
You’re supposed to chain stone crates in front and back like a basket. Then throw strap for extra. One strap is not enough. I’ve hauled those from a place near Flagstaff over to Black Forest, Co.
